The talk of the derby has started to intensify, anyone care to make a prediction yet or are we all sitting on the fence until closer to the date... 2-1 Sunderland. Sess and Gyan for us, Cabaye for you.
My prediction? A few of our over-zealous user's will spend the next couple of week's saying we are going to ( TEAR THE ****ING SCUM A NEW ARSEHOLE). All well and good if this turn's out to be correct. If this does not turn out to be the case, they will disappear for a couple of month's to lick their wound's. As for the rest of us? We will stay and take all the ****e of "you said this, you said that" Blah Blah Blah. Just going off 606 though.
I'd have a point right now. It's really hard to predict a derby like. Form means nothing. You lot were in decent defensive Form last season until you came to our place. but this season neither of will have any form to speak of anyway after one game. We could both be utter ****e in our first games our we could be fantastic. Hard to call this one like.
The tea leaves in the bottom of my cup says "2-0 to us" mind it was a ****e cuppa tea, anyone got any pg.
as a neutral i probably share the best & least bias views, i'll go for: Newcastle 1 - 8 Sunderland: for Newcastle, Carroll, um i mean Nolan, no **** Barton oh **** how about Best? for Sunderland Bramble x2, Ferdinand, Dong x2, Brown and Gyan x2
Head says 3-1 to Sunderland... based on the turmoil up the road (even if Barton and Enrique are still there) and the more likely abilty of our new signings to adapt to a Sunderland/Newcastle derby than les nouvelles mouffettes the mags are pinning their hopes on. I'll still be bricking it mind p.s. And my prediction will change if Newcastle buy Messi.
it will only be possible to comment once we see who is in our starting 11 as there may be a few incomings before then (he says hoping the hope!)
