Well, reading down your board, it all seems somewhat familiar. Where have I read this all before. Hmmmmmm. Oh that's right. In the days preceding last Halloween. And if I remember rightly you all made yourself look like the complete and utter mugs that you are, and had to sit down and eat your humble pie. Lo and behold, a new derby comes around and you're spouting the same old crap once again. If you do end up winning, big whup, you're the favourites by a long shot, you're expected to. But if you lose, I reckon that as per you'll all go into hiding for a few days cos you realise you've made fools of yourselves. I don't understand why it's not possible to talk about the things happening at our clubs sensibly, instead of always making into a "now we're definitely gonna beat them" debate.
Just think for one second - if we do get a result against yous, what are you actually gonna say?

Interesting that we're favourites even though none of our players would get in their team according to them on top of the fact we couldn't beat them last year ?

    That smells like fear.

I think he means all those posts by Mags telling us that virtually none of our signings would get into their team... :emoticon-0112-wonde

p.s. Unless of course he posts something saying that he was wumming and we all bit... oh man, that would be an hilarious joke on us

Let's have it right, no one said EVERY one of your signings wouldn't get in our team. Looking at it on paper player for player they were compared to what we had and one or 2 wouldn't get in the 11. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Many like myself have also said we would take a few that you have signed. Personally I would of had whickam, Gardner and possibly Oshea. I said larsson wouldn't get in and that is how it was. Maybe now with the whole Barton affair, I can change my stance on that one but at the time, there is nothing wrong with saying he wouldn't get a in the 11, because he wouldn't. I would say that he isn't a dead cert for a start at Sunderland either. You do need to remember the old saying though, he who laughs last, laughs loudest.

Let's have it right? Nice football factory lingo there. you'll find one or two of your lads said that apart from Gyan, not one of our team, never mind signings would get in your team mate. Not saying it was you but it was certainly said.

Haha, it seemed applicable. Everyone has their opinions like, there is a few I would have from Sunderland like definatelty, although I don't watch them week in week out, always thought turner was a good defender. Obv gyan and the few I mentioned above. Each to their own though, I'm sure there are Sunderland fans out there who would not take any of our current team.

Basically, a lot can happen in 90 minutes and a lot can happen in the next 17 days - though I think Sunderland fans have every reason to look forward to the fixture with more optimism.

Any Sunderland fan who wouldn't take Jose Enrique doesn't have a fecking clue about football! Tiote's another. Cabaye I wouldn't like to say yet, but he could turn into a beast of a player for you boys.

Looks like you need him to now!

Aye i'd go along with that. Not much optimism on our board at the minute like. I prefer to look at the positives. Did the whole doom and gloom thing years ago. Anything can happen in football and predicting anything to do with our club is pointless. If we get a couple more signings in it paints a different picture.

I'm hoping cabaye will hit the ground running. He's the signing that I am expecting the most from this season. Could do with a nippy striker in though to feed off him.

I think you've been unlucky with Ben Arfa and I hope Demba Ba manages more than 20+ games for you.

I'd actually prefer it if both clubs played a near full strength team on the 20th

Yeah, two strong teams, wipe out any excuses. The best team wins on the day. I'd rather the strongest teams were out also.
Don't know what to expect from Ba like. If we can get 20 games from him I think we will of done ok. No one seems to know how bad his knee is/can be. Time will tell. He's got goals everywhere he has been like so ats a decent sign but if he is going to get injured anywhere you can garuntee it will be at Newcastle. Don't know what it is with injuries in this part of the country.

Do you not think your leader is making a big enough **** of you all without helping him br posting this drivel.

I hope for a win in the derby, dont expect it but certainly hope for it. The one thing I'm sure of is that Sunderland ar heading the right way, nt as quick as many would like but still sound.

I'm also sure that your club is in danger of a major **** up, not the fans fault but still fact.

It may not be nice and as a football fan I feel for you, as a Sunderland fan I say, enjoy it while we can.
