Yep, & can't see us bothering the top or the bottom of the table this coming season. Think Conte will get the best results the quickest out of the new big managers. Klopp & Wenger will probably be competing for a similar place in the table. Ron, sacked by January.

It's gonna be tight at the top this season. Arsenal looking nailed on for a return to form, dropping two places to their traditional 4th spot. In which case spurs will finish 5th I suppose. That probably leaves man utd, man city and chelsea to fill the top three in god knows what order.

    Yep, bored.

Really really really boring window. We know we will be ok this season so it's not like our 3 departures have caused meltdown.

I've really enjoyed this window. Three key players have got on the long term, two want aways have gone, our plan seems very tight. Boring is good, next summer is going to be a twat.

Let's just wish Chelsea a horrible season. It would be lovely for the Saints to beat them twice in the PL and again in any cup competition.

This is shaping up to be the most exciting season to date. Seven teams with a realistic chance.

What I would really like to see but will never happen:

    Top Four:
    Saints
    Swansea
    Bournemouth
    Crystal Palace

    Bottom Three:
    Manchester United
    Liverpool
Everton (Payback time for Heath, Bailey and Koeman)

Palace in fourth? Pardew would become even more unbearable.

I think this year is extremely hard to call. Can't see any of Manc clubs not in top 4, same for Chelsea. I really fancy Liverpool to do well this year too. Is this the year Arsenal drop out?

Think both Spurs & Leicester will struggle to reach heights of last year. West Ham could be a dark horse for top 6 if they throw the EL again.

Relegation as it stands I would go Boro, Hull & Swansea/Palace.

There's no reason why we shouldn't be around the top 6 or so again. We just need a forward or two.

    1. Man United
    2. Man City
    3. Chelsea
    4. Arsenal
    5. Spurs
    6. Saints

    18. Hull
    19. Swansea
    20. Burnley

I'll give a reason: Europa League.

I honestly think if people are expecting us to be top 6 again then they are going to be disappointed.

Edit: you don't think Liverpool will be top 6 this year?

I'm not expecting us to be top 6. I'm expecting us to be top half at lest but do think we should be competing for top 6.

Edit: And to use the EL as an excuse we need to qualify for the knockout stages. That's when it has an effect.

Why do many on here think that Chelsea will be Top 4 again? If they finish below Saints, and our favourite PL teams (Spurs, Liverpool and Everton) I'll be very happy.

I hope Saints enjoy a good second season in the EL, maybe winning the trophy, although that is a little far fetched when Sevilla do their usual thing by exiting the CL and stake their usual claim to winning the EL.
