Just wanted to say that while Zola was one of the most entertaining players I remember with his dribbling, passing and all round clever play, not mention some cracking goals, his manager rwcord is pretty patchy. Under him we may play with more flair but have a leakier defence. But generally, just get a manager in and sell the club pronto.
There are a lot of ifs and buts and hypothetical situations in that statement! I do not particularly like the current situation, but there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. I'm very much looking forward to having a new manager, new players and the start of the new season. I can't wait - the excitement is building up nicely.
Just wonder if Zola does get the job, whether he will keep the existing back room staff. Defensively wouldn't be bad to have Phelan still on the coaching side, as the players left seems to have respect for him
I just think that Robertson isn't a good enough defender and Odubajo is too attacking which will leave a big gap behind unless we play three at the back rather than the present none.
