Would people be happy with Zola?

A lot to prove as a manager, seems abit too nice to me to be a manager kinda got to be ruthless I thought Bruce was abit too nice with players at times more a father figure , when he needed to drop players like huddlestone

Zola is favourite to come in. FACT.

Hudds just told me, chatting to him in the chippy queue in Cave St Chippy. Said he always did a chippy tea on a Monday 'cos he wasn't allowed on a Friday, made his pre-match ****s greasy next day & the fishy farts always caused a laugh during training on a Tuesday. Anyway, after he'd ordered his Large Haddock, double pattie & large chips, no peas - weirdo, we had a chat & he said he'd noticed odds on Zola had come in to 1/2 at some bookies & suspended by others so he must be favourite. it's the truth, don't dare question me.
The best bit was when you asked for beans and the bloke broke your nose with a ladle...

Twas funny :emoticon-0140-rofl:

I would ideally go with Phelan to make it easier to replace him if the club is sold but then I'd go for Martinez. Nobody else has a good track record recently.

Zola , not in the slightest keen on the fella as manager , he always came across as a nice guy as a player , but as a manager he has almost no relevant experience that would merit him the vacant seat . . . . Other than he will be an easy , cheap , grateful stop gap and scapegoat .

I hope he tells the club to **** off

Would he even be cheap? Zolas a big name in football.

thint it's a desperation appointment myself, big name , but crap pedigree as a manager

The big name itself will appease a lot of fans

Could have swore I saw it last night. Checked today and there's nothing other than him saying to one fan that the club will bring positive news this week.

I stuck a post on yesterday with a quote from FB which detailed what James Mooney had said at that Fan's Forum do. Something about not selling players & that we will be bringing in new players & a manager in the next 4-5 days.

One of greatest players in the history of the Premiership who always played with a smile on his face. However his manager's rwcord is somewhat patchy. Under him we'd certainly play with more flair but would be possibly defensively suspect unless City have a seperate defensive coach.

Oh I've probably mixed 4-5 days with 4-5 players :P. Sorry everybody.
