Arent motorbikes for people who darent ride scooters with 8" or 10" wheels and only go out sunny days . If scooters are gay Mr Hat you would definitely have one. I do love british motorcycles though. If you love old motorcyles visit pickering show ground next weekend.
Not tried an R1 @ 160mph+ then Filey ?? Try it & then ask about who dare ride what & when Nothing remotely scary about riding a scooter, I started riding my Grandad's old Lambretta when I was about 10 (on private land of course)....the only scary thing was wondering just how far from civilisation you would be when it broke down (although in most cases you could get them going again after they cooled down)
I reckon it must focus the mind, chugging along with the rhythmic 'ping, ping ping' as the flies hit the back of the helmet.
It's not running he said. Unless you mean does he feel like a bellend sitting on it pretending he's riding it, with a hair dryer going, on its lowest setting to simulate the noise the engine makes and the sensation of the wind in his face?
Riding a vespa from newcastle to porthcawl in strong winds and pissing rain With brakes only slightly better then those of a pushbike can be quite an experience Mr N F
My vespa could do 70mph all day long. Ya cheeky bloody rocker Ps before any one asks I have never had a mod style scooter. Lots of.cutdowns and a few chops. My current scooter does 5mph and 10 miles to the charge though Grrrrrr
You need one of these .....8mph & 30 mile range, a few naughty mods can get them to 17mph please log in to view this image
Anyone who hasn't sat on a non running/soon to be restored bike/scooter and adopted the prone position, twisted the throttle and made rummmm rummmm noises doesn't deserve to own the thing and should sell it straight away.
