Then this monster. Aplha 4-into-1 pipes with some of the baffles removed. First time I started it, two panes of glass in my dad's greenhouse broke!
Short-lived, this one, but the comfiest bike I ever owned. Rode to Scotland on it, without getting a numb arse!
Not my actual bike but identical in every way. Bought it brand new from Hull Motorcycle Centre on Witham in 1979. Part exed my Suzuki AP50. As for being a wheelie machine it would pop one in first, second and third. First true 100mph 250cc bike, then came the Yamaha 250 LC which was ****ing lightening in those days.

Ha ha I've still got mine. It gets a lot of attention in bars and clubs actually..............some of it is from women.
Went pillion to Oliver's mount on an LC 250. I'm lucky to be alive after that. Promised to kick my pals head in if he rode like that on the way home. The ride home was nice and sedatery.
Fell off the X7 on Olivers Mount trying to be Barry Sheene. At that time she had ace bars, Microns and a full race fairing. No damage though as she ground to a halt upright lent against a grassy bank.
Get yourself a Lambretta and embrace coolness. Piss pot helmet, shades, red tab Levi's and a Fred Perry. Cool as...
