Sounds like Wolves have had a fair few chances. Same against Swindon. We won't get away with giving away so many chances against our fellow Premier League teams. We've focussed a lot of our lack of strikers, but I'm starting to get more worried with how leaky we've looked. I guess we still have Taylor, Williams and Fabianski to come back in though in that regard.
Mate he is having a ball they have played 3 games so far and won 3, one against a top college, been jet boating in Sydney harbour, just a trip of a life time for those boys.
here are a couple of worrying updates fro the first half. Another Wolves chance A chance for Jed Wallace running into the penalty area but his shot - from a very promising position - is hit straight at Nordfeldt. Another let-of for the Swans. Great save Nordfeldt! From the resulting free kick James Henry curls a delightful effort towards the top right-hand corner. Molineux is already on its feet before Nordfelft thrusts out a hand to tip it over the bar. Close! Fernandez escapes a red Wolves livewire Niall Ennis is played through and absolutely burns Federico Fernandez for pace. The Argentine brings the youngster down just outside the area - and would surely have been sent off if this had not been a pre-season friendly.
I Hope/Predict Fab Naughts, Ash, Fernandez, Taylor Cork, Ki Barrow, Siggy, Montero Ayew with at least a new striker on the bench
Swan almost agree, not sure about Taylor and the little game time he seems to be giving Barrow and Montero, have to wonder.
I'd hope next week to see: Fabianski Naughton, Williams, Fernandez, Taylor Cork, Fer Barrow, Siggy, Routledge Ayew That's what I've got down as my starting 11 for the league too. I'd have thought that the Euros players will only get 45-60 mins. I think Routledge is playing his way into the team with his goalscoring form, and as much as I've called and called for Monty to play more, from last season's form, he has been better coming on at half time.
Question to you, I don't know what training Fabianski, Williams, Taylor, Ki, and Siggy have had, if they play not or very little part in our last friendly, do you start them in the first game, Like wise if we actually sign a striker after next Saturday do we play hi? Bearing in mind they would have had done next to nothing for a month since the end of the Euro's.
Depends how match fit Gylfi is atm, if not quite ready to start I'd like to see Leon alongside Cork and Fer in Gylfis position. Bring Gylfi on just after half time, take Leon off and put Fer into CM. If Gylfi is fit and ready then the only switch I'd make his Kingsley for Taylor.
2-0 More on the goal Sublime skill from Kyle Naughton, who nutmegs a Wolves defender on the byline, creates as much of an angle for himself as possible and slots past Carl Ikeme from close range. It’s been a better second half so far from the Swans, and that was majestic. Before I could post it, now 3-0
