K.O. 3PM at MOLINEUX STADIUM. The Swansea squad Here’s the Swansea City squad for today’s match. The likes of Ashley Williams and the rest of the Euro 2016 players return to training in the next 48 hours and are not available today. Swans squad: Kristoffer Nordfeldt, Gerhard Tremmel, Angel Rangel, Kyle Naughton, Jordi Amat, Federico Fernandez, Mike van der Hoorn, Stephen Kingsley, Leon Britton, Jack Cork, Leroy Fer, Jay Fulton, Wayne Routledge, Nathan Dyer, Jefferson Montero, Modou Barrow, Oliver McBurnie, Andre Ayew. Head-to-head record Swansea have won eight of the clubs’ 30 previous competitive meetings, with Wolves winning 11 and 11 ending in draws. Both the sides’ Premier League encounters in 2011-12 ended in thrilling draws. Wolves came from two goals down to salvage a share of the spoils at Molineux, a game in which Danny Graham and Joe Allen scored for the Swans. At the Liberty the sides shared eight goals, with the Swans twice throwing away three-goal leads. Andrea Orlandi, Allen, Nathan Dyer and Graham netted for the Swans, with Edwards scoring for Wolves
I see no aussie keeper in the squad again, starting to look like money well spent (on his wages). Anyone know of any streams for this my son is staying up in Australia to see if he can watch the game.
If I find one I'll post it on here. After the way the treated Jackett yesterday I hope we destroy these lot today.
I see they had their new manager in within 10hrs, Walter Zenga. Not so sure about that one, a bit of the Guidolins about him though managed 15 clubs already I think they said.
Swansea City team news Here’s the Swansea team... Starting XI: Nordfeldt, Naughton, Fernandez, Amat, Kingsley, Britton (capt), Cork, Fer, Dyer, Routledge, Ayew. Subs: Tremmel, Rangel, van der Hoorn, Fulton, Barrow, Montero, McBurnie.
1-0 12mins Routledge What a fantastic hit from Wayne Routledge! He had forced a corner which Dyer took from the right, although Cork’s glancing header did not have enough on it to trouble the keeper. It eventually made its way back out to Dyer, and his second ball found Routledge about 15 yards out at the back left of the area - and his hooked half volley flew past Ikeme.
no mate getting live updates, if I had a stream would let you know. . please log in to view this image
Wolves pressure A bit of forward momentum for Wolves. Some pinball in and around the Swansea box eventually sees the ball run out for a goal kick, but not before a few desperate tackles from Swans shirts.
Doesn't this sound so familiar. A long ball finds Routledge, who again gets to the byline in the box - but there are no blue shirts running to meet his cutback to the penalty spot.
HT: Wolves 0-1 Swansea Swansea lead but Wolves have had more than enough opportunities to equalise - if not go in ahead at the break. The visitors have Routledge to thank for a superb strike to give them their goal, but equally Nordfeldt (as well as some last-ditch defending) has been key to retaining parity. Yet we have wasted money on another keeper.
