Will we have any sort of side capable of competing, If we were to lose Siggy, Ayew and possible Williams **** mine we would be in the ****. if we cant replace strikers we knew were going probably before the end of the season, what chance would we have of replacing the above 3 with any quality in 4 weeks. I wake up every day hoping today is the day we will get some good news and it just doesn't happen.
Or Siggy ....Everton are not only interested in Williams apparently , stay tuned " As The Stomach Turns "
I still think given the exit of anything that resembles a striker , with our propped up striker Ayew on a 50/50 also to go , and the apparent lack of anything resembling a striker appearing to be coming in yet with a few weeks till Game 1 ....Its getting more foolish by the day not to latch onto Peter Crouch especially for 3 million . I've already used the " Beggars can't be choosers " quote and that's becoming more true by the day . Would be a good back up striker when we do sign one , great for the last 15 minutes of games and could start if he had to. Say what you want , but he's been a huge ( and tall )talent his whole career and from the age of 31-35 at Stoke has had a goal or an assist about every 200 minutes in 7,000 total minutes .......tick tock ...
Our useless Dr Do-Little, has reached new heights even by his own inept standards, it wouldn't surprise me if our prized banana of a chairman actually signed an OAP striker, we are writing a new chapter here, and it's not a good one...................
Im not that worried if we sell ash tbh as we are doing ok without him but ash is not stupid he wont go to Everton while he is the captain and guaranteed to play every week......The next two weeks will be busy weeks for clubs as they finalize their squad for the season and i hope we are the busiest of them all because if we are not it will be a long struggling season....
"Sportsmail understands Llorente is top of chairman Huw Jenkins’ shortlist to resolve what is an increasingly desperate situation and a move has been made to sign him". Only here at Swansea could this happen, the sooner Jinx is history the better...........
Actually we have all of August to bring players in, not just two weeks! And before you say that is not enough time to bed players in. Well what do you think happens in the January window when we bring players in? It's no different and we have actually brought in players whilst the season is ongoing.
Leicester looks like they are going to be offered 15 million and Ulloa doesn't wanna come , what makes anyone thing Bony could be offered anything and he won't come still . The days of us snapping our fingers and players turning their heads are gone . We have a strong midfield ( if we can keep them ) and a strong Defence ( Ifwe keep them also ) . We just need a striker(ifAyew stays ). Or 2 if he goes . The stronger the strikers we start out with the better we will do , but anyone will just about do to keep us up IMO . I don't want to waste time in hope , we need to fill the strikers position . If Ayew is going , let's get him gone .
We need a minimum of two strikers if Ayew stays, and 3 if he goes. The reasoning is that if we need to put two up front in a game we need the players to do that.
I dont want to be as drastic as to get rid of jenkins i just want him to stop being the person that negotiates for players as he is way out of touch with the value of what players go for today......gone are the days where we should buy cheap players now and come into the real world... Keep jinx as chairman without the responsibility of the playing side or kick his arse upstairs.....He has been a good chairman overall.....
The former Swans player has become an outcast at Manchester City, where a forgettable 18-month spell has done nothing for his reputation. With the player now needing to re-establish his credentials and Swansea badly in need of a goal scorer, a reunion makes perfect sense. Swansea are said to have a £15m buy-back clause, and exercising it now would give both parties a risk-free opportunity to help each other, providing the Swans are willing to meet Bony's wage demands.-- Max Hicks Only one problem Max! One stupid chairman.............................
