ELYSIAN FLYER 66/1 Goodwood 2.00 I just think Hughsie has worked this one down to a handy mark to land a big pot.
Suzi's Connoisseur 3.45. 33/1 Quite like the 5lb claimer on this one. Think he is attached to the Stuart Williams yard. It's about time Suzi's won one of these big handicaps.
KING OF PARADISE 7/1 Hamilton 8.45 6 wins from 18 runs at the track including this race last year off an 8lb higher mark. Safely ignore the latest run over too far and on going far too soft.
Crikey, never seen RP fancy such an outsider, 66/1 !! Projection is the obvious one but he got cast in his box ahead of an intended run last week. Roger Charlton reports the gelding has been monitored and "seems to be over it" but such news would hardly have you rushing to back a favourite in a 28-runner race. Instead, at big odds, the selection is EL VIENTO. He may be an exposed 8yo but his trainer won this with a 9yo in 2012 and the selection has shaped better than his recent form suggests. Most recently, he wouldn´t have been far away fromGamesome with a clear run over 5f and he´ll be suited by the step back up in trip.
2 for me in the Stewards Cup at big prices JAMESIE - 33/1 Ew came 6th here in 2012 and altho now a 8yo he has been a model of consistency showing that now more than ever first of all winning at Dundalk over 7f and has run some decent 3rds in listed company altho has bit to find at the weights is drawn low won't mind what ever ground and is very good EW price. Second pick is G-FORCE - 28/1 Ew things clicked for him when he came back in to training but things have gone backwards since and has to prove he retains bit of his ability Coming back from an unsuccessful stud career, this is a massive drop down in class for him and has the cheekpieces on for the first time so if they have any effect on him and sharpens him up he could make his price look very big indeed!
Barnet Fair. 2.00. Gold Faith. 2.35. Black Trilby. 4.20. Reputation. 4.55. Mr Quicksilver.6.00. Fancies for tomorrow along with Suzi's!
I've just realised i haven't had one winning bet @ Goodwood all week and I've bet in at least 75% of the races too I've had a few winners but been in losing bets e.g. yest had Franklin D, Thikryaat, Goken/Goldream in trebles, had Take Cover + B Fifty Two in a double, Mehmas + Lathom in a double Thursday, Technically did win a bet as had Twin Sails + Ivory's two in a trixie, but the two winners were @ Leicester!
Totalize @ Galway for me, 11/1, Ellisons horses have been running well @ Goodwood all week, he's had one winner, him + D E Mullins teamed up for it, D E Mullins rides a 2nd one of his today (Totalize) and its the only one he sends over today.
Scoop 6/ew Lucky 63: 2:00 Goodwood - Dougan 12/1 2:15 Newmarket - Lady of Camelot 11/4 2:35 Goodwood - Dal Harraild 9/2 2:50 Newmarket - Pranceleya 14/1 3:45 Goodwood - Kimberella 14/1 4:55 Goodwood - George William 14/1 Have also backed Jembatt 12/1 in the 5:00 at Galway. In cracking form this year and owes me nothing i was on for the hatrick (and the defeats also) and if the last run was just a blip then should be bang there come the finish
Embarrassing discussion on Morning Line. Guest Mark Johnson given a roasting about his betting remarks.
Anybody at a loss for something today tomorrow could do worse than support a charity football game : http://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/news/4...st_his_legs_after_hit_and_run_crash_1_4610290 heard this on talksport this morning, such a shame but apparently the guy is aiming for paralympics 2020! Humans can be amazing!!!
15:15 Galway - Little Haarth e/w (Son of that good old galloper Alhaarth, form LTO puts him in this race with a good chance).
