Thinking about it, if you literally can't talk about team selections, the way we play and transfer targets, what's the ****ing point? Don't bother changing what you post just because some no mark claims you're an armchair manager just because you know more about football than them.
Nicely summed up TommyMagicPants @TommyMagicPants Is there anything in the #hcafc takeover rumours, or is it the rampant imagination of some ****hammock who deserves a cock punch?
Hypothetical team selections, 20/20 hindsight...it's mind numbingly tedious, and of no interest to the vast majority of decent supporters.
Well if you know better go and get a ****ing managing job then don't write on here telling us about it.
That's a pretty big jump, from knowing more than a poster on here to knowing enough to be an actual football manager. Is there not a middle ground?
I think 9/10 posters couldn't give a flying nuns **** about formations or hexagonal pegs in triangular holes or whatever other fantasy bollocks the armchair managers like to drool about.
Then why is it talked about so much on here/in the pub/on radio/on podcasts? Where do these other bland discussions take place?
Will you be having another 'knob' film title evening down the boozer tonight? If you do, please don't post about it on here, it makes the armchair manager stuff seem interesting by comparison.
As threads go it was one of the most popular of the week and made me chuckle at times, nearly 10 pages in a few hours ... great stuff in what has been a bloody horrible time for the club and the **** that is posted on here sometimes .. just lightened the mood for a while .. no complaints from me keep em coming .. Just like the Music thread ....
I saw that earlier & have just spent the journey home from Sainsbury's trying to remember "****hammock" because some **** pulled out on me at a roundabout. In the end I was more pissed at me for not being able to recall it than the ****hammock who pulled out on me.
Looks like everyone's missed the most obvious one, apparently, supposedly, reputedly. I hope no one ever makes the alledgation that I can't spell. Has anyone bought City yet?
We're back to this 'I know more than you' ****. Yawn. Have you or any of the other armchair managers ever praised SB for his substitutions, his nullifying of the opposition's threat, his tactical awareness, his 'outwitting' of Karanka and Dyche at the KCom last season? Talk us through that. Or was it 'City turned up on the day, they didn't'? Or maybe Bruce got 'lucky. Or is it always the case that praise and recognition of SB's managerial nouse goes unrecognised cos it's easier to pick pieces in what he did, after he'd done them?
