I was thinking this. I certainly can't recall any question marks about that side.

I'd hope so, I think only Defoe but if we wanna compete we need to make these moves.

@Bri OBE knows a lot more about how the FFP rules are regarding wage increases etc. than I do but I would think - having removed Fletcher and Graham from our wage bill, adding Fellaini for £70k would be no more that they were collectively on - but there's far more to it than it being "that" simple.

Our turnover 2014/15 was 101m which is very Our wages were £77m of that though - Only QPR (83%) and Swansea (80%) had higher wages as a proportion of turnover than us!

There's a few types. The the Uafa one which is a pain in the arse. They'll fine you and stop you competing in europe. Then there's the domestic one which Short masterminded but is ****e, unworkable, ignored and never enforced by the powers that be because it flawed to death.

All ffp's are in danger of collapse. Should be long till it's all scrapped.

Worth doing if done right but nothing has come close. Back to the drawing board to see if somebody can make one of these things actually work fairly. Instead of dodgy sponsor deals being used by sugar daddies to convert thier pocket money into spendable revenue.

In theory it's a great concept however the big boys will always find a way round it...

Fellaini and Januzaj together, as a duo, makes sense to me, in lots of ways, so hopefully there's a deal to be done once Pogba comes home.

I can see a double loan deal happening, Adnan and Fellaini.

Adnan's will be fairly straight forward, return to sender after end of season.

Fellaini's could be guaranteed sale after X appearances, protects him if Moyes is sacked etc, his contract with us expires in 2 years, so he'd best be shifted now before his value plummets.

I don't see why you're bothering, you've two decent youngsters coming through if I'm not mistaken, Garbutt and Galloway? He'll only stunt their progress. I think he's peaked probably 2 seasons ago.

I doubt that Baines would be happy to play second fiddle to PVA.

I doubt that Man U or Januzaj would be happy for him to come and not be guaranteed first team football.
