Clicked onto this thread, went directly to 64, the last time I looked at it, skipped to page 68 & still just arguing & talking bollocks!
Geo... you can't post that... it'll be two more posts max before the guys surname is corrected... Actually... I'll jump in a Schuster and a Schister at the top of our club..... you couldn't write it..
If memory serves me well when we played them a cpl of seasons ago. after the match, Martinez was interviewed and he pronounced our wonderful club like a bloody local, I'm sure he said "ull city" in his interview .... Or maybe not, after all I am early stage dementia!!!
Spanish people don't pronounce "H in general", it's silent. Holá becomes Olá and Hull thereof becomes 'Ull" Also the reason to why Spanish speaking won't write "Hahaha", since that would just be "aaaaaa" They instead go for a classic"Jajajaja" Trivia of the day Good night
Thinking about it, the Spanish do struggle with their aitches, so good on him. In all seriousness, I cannot remember a city manager that had a gung Ho attacking philosophy and Martinez does seem to be that man. I would take that approach over another pragmatic "play for the draw" manager any day. If we concede 2 a game, we will just have to score 3. Just hope the Allams sell up so that I can actually attend games and see attacking football in the flesh. Yep, Martinez for me.
Is that why crowd roars in Spain don't sound like ours? Continental goal cheers sound more like OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Whereas ours are more like YEEEAAAHHHHHHHH!!! Shouldn't the Spanish one be SIIIIIIIIII????
