Through the net and a subscription channel I had all games to watch at any time to suit me. The subscription channel has now been taken over by Al-Jazeera who will be using Sky to broadcast EPL games but no details yet. The previous sub channel showed all the games so I could pick and choose what time I watched. My biggest fear now is that Sky will only show the games they want and, given the time of year, it will be a 2AM or 4AM live KO on line. We are slotted in for three games between August and December so I am not enthusiastic about Sky. Fingers crossed that they will show the lot but knowing Sky there will be additional charges for choosing the specific game.
Boro at home. And guess what? I'm missing it. I'm away down York for the Ebor. Smug your not wrong about Boro away Scary bloody place. Especially getting back onto the A19. The police have a habit of bailing out of the way as well for a short while whilst ya having a battle.
They've been doing that since the 70's when you'd arrive at Ayresome Park to find the turnstiles still closed around 2pm. There'd be Boro hanging around all the surrounding side streets waiting for the police to go walkabout.
I'm hoping to get to Liverpool away this season, only been to the city once so quite fancy a weekend there. Probably go on the lash on the Friday, stay in some cheap hostel, then drag myself along to the game on the Sat, as long as it doesn't get moved by Sky.
