Oh look! It's back on again! - https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jul/28/manchester-united-paul-pogba-juventus Just pretend that this is last Thursday all over again until August 31st
They actually have United in that commercial. Surely that can't be allowed if he isn't joining. I am so tired of this drama. lol
Adidas sponsor us, Real and Juv. Could just be some big marketing thing from them and could be a 3rd part to the video with a twist to yet be released But would Adidas want to troll everyone, Juv can't be happy with that video
This is funny. I used to look forward to him coming and probably the only one here who thought getting him for £100m wasn't such bad business. But now I am thoroughly pissed off with this business and all the crap associated with it. I couldn't be bothered whether we get him or not.
You know the irony of all this? Woodward will give juventus an extra £5m on top of the £120m-£130m to say that United only paid £85m after some tough negotiation by woody the destroyer. Just not to be seen as the clown/punching bag of the premiership
The spin is already on https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jul/28/manchester-united-paul-pogba-juventus Pogba is being bought for £86m (tax, bonuses, add ons ignored)! Same price as Bale.
Stop putting Guardian links up, thats a communist rag http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...prepare-final-bid-for-alexandre-a7161566.html
Interesting piece in the Daily Torygraph. Just how will we measure his success at the club ............ http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...it-would-take-something-extraordinary-to-avo/ The crux of the piece is how do you judge the impact of a midfield player? Higuain is simple, he was stolen from Juve's principal rivals, so they are already ahead on the deal, plus as a striker his return will be measured simply by goals scored. The article argues just how difficult it will be for a fair assessment to be made on the impact of Pogba's return.
In some ways I'm surprised Jose has gone after a world record transfer. If United buy Pogba for £100m then they have to win the league to justify spending that kind of money. Personally I will think he's worth the cash if he's as good as Keano was. It's impossible to exaggerate just what a ****ing superb player Keane was.
