Looks like there's no requirement for a membership card to load the game on, so that's another bit of the system binned... Tickets for our opening game of the season against champions Leicester City are now on general sale. The Tigers will get their return to the Premier League underway on the 13th August (KO 12.30pm) when they entertain a Foxes side at the KCOM Stadium who surprised most last season by lifting the Premier League trophy in May. Senior Citizens (65 & overs), Under-18’s and families can purchase Zone 1 & 2 tickets for this game over the phone until Thursday 4th August. All other zones on general sale can be purchased online, over the phone (01482 505600) and from Tiger Leisure at the KCOM Stadium from today. Tickets for this game are priced at: Zone 1 £24 Zone 2 £27 Zone 3 £30 Zone 4 £33 Details on our 2016/17 matchday ticket prices can be found by clicking here - http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/article/2016-17/201617-matchday-prices-confirmed-3210631.aspx http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...kets-on-sale-3211709.aspx#gszFvq0FMHDUb3tA.99
I hear the phones are ringing off their hooks as families clamour to buy tickets in Zone 1 at £24 + £2 booking fee. For a family of 4 that's only, let's see, quick mental arithmetic £24 x 4 plus £2 x 4 = £ 104 it's a bargain folks !!
It's actually £106.40, there's a £2 fee for buying in the club shop, but a £2.60 charge for buying on the phone.
What about phone charges? Also, city's phone lines really should be premium numbers. They're missing out on guaranteed income.
Good idea Hattie. Premium numbers with recorded messages that take at least 6 minutes to get through to a person who then answers the phone "Hello welcome to Hull Tigers, grrrrrr, thanks for calling what may I help you with today?"
In an Indian accent who thanks you for saying what you said every time you say something. They then go away to find somebody who knows the answer. They then come back and answer a question that you didn't ask.
Swansea away tickets on sale soon too, I presume. The posstots might eventually get round to making a decision on Away Direct. I've sent NINE emails to James Mooney now regarding Away Direct, one day he may answer just one of them, because I'll keep seding 'em! I've also phoned the ticket office ermm SMC office and they know nothing about Away Direct. Anyone would think they're working in a service industry. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I have purchased some 'Brazilian Spicy Churrasco' sauce to take to the BBQ I have been cordially invited to. Should have been £1.99 but got it on a reduced label. 50 ****ing pence, Christ knows what it tastes like but at the price I couldn't give a flying. Could taste like a tramps arsehole but when you're paying ten Bob you have no right to complain. None. FACT.
I also got a bottle of 'Australian Sweet Grill' sauce for the same price. I really should clarify that I have only paid half a brick for these sauces. Granted it's only 200ml but it comes in a glass bottle which makes a big difference in my eyes. More to follow.........
I have an entire freezer drawer full of reduced label bbq food. Enough to feed me with. In fact just today I added large box of chicken wings and drum sticks for £1.20. My best is 8 chilli beef kebabs for 60p, down from a fiver.
So Is there a protest at the game, in the ground? Continuation of the red cards? If there is then I might buy a ticket to join in...if there isn't then I'll be staying at home (or pub, whatever)
