what a ridiculous post, you are entitled to your opinion but you are in fact WRONG. He is a good player than will come good, he is showing some real promise and is anything but lazy.
Big step up for McClean from L1 , once adjusted to this level will do well, had to play against a strong defence today. Keep the faith
It's a bit harsh to write someone off after three games, would give him a bit more time to settle in.
No, you won't be proved right. You can't be. Even if McLean goes on to be city's worst ever signing, you cannot possibly have seen enough yet to justify writing him off. Unless you know something from his Peterborough days which all their fans seem unaware of. That was his 4th game in a new team in a new division. Just because Fryatt settled in well, doesn't mean that McLean is ****, just because he hasn't settled as well.
I really like the look of Mclean. He is quick, has a great first touch and is good in the air. He didn't get much of the ball today but we won't play QPR every week.
He is a good player who needs time and games to adjust. He played well against Barnsley who he out jumped and won headers against all day, yet today we came up against two class centre backs who are keeping ****tu of the bench who is a really good player for this level. I definately feel he will come good, he has a decent record and i hope it works here
This sort of reminds me of some of the nonsense that written was about Nigel Pearson early on in his tenure. To a lesser extent, Harper and simpson have had some of the same. The fruits of NP's work should become apparent next season and I reckon Aaron McClean will be a part of a younger, leaner, fitter more skilful squad than we have been used to in recent times. Keep the faith.
