    Good on ya brix, a great signing for the QPR not606 team. You will be good at this. I feel that you are well respected by all on here. Are you an addition or a replacement by the way? Northolt had a lucrative offer from one of the welsh teams?

    I was only just saying last week how good your posts were.
    A great addition to the team that already make this one of the greatest boards in the 'Prem'. ( That's right people.. QPR are a Premiership team. ( I love saying that bit! ) )
    Well done also to Northolt & Spanish, for all your efforts.
    Brixton, i'm sure will be a great asset.

    Blimey! Thanks very much for all your comments guys. Nice to feel appreciated even if it means accepting a bit of responsibility gratis!

    And for anyone not quite as content with my contributions or appointment, my sympathies...

    Bit of a Mission Statement

    Having had time now to think about this Moderator thing, I have come up with the following approach. I hope you agree but please let me know if you don't - either openly on here or via private message (PM).

    As a Moderator I intend little if any change to our daily running of things. Northolt and the rest of you have set a perfectly acceptable stall out already. I'm not looking to fix what ain't broke. Also, just to clarify matters, I'm no Northolt with his daily research and news articles (not to mention imaging skills. If he's ever likely to take time off, I'll be looking to the likes of JeffRanger and others to fill in for North.

    As for my contribution as Mod, I think it will be to encourage the good staff that comes through from you. Rather than simply rep good efforts, I like to feedback on a more personal level with credit where I think it's due. I know others will help me with this but I just feel that where someone goes to great lengths to enlighten us with one thing or another, a little 'public' recognition and appreciation adds the feel good factor and enhances our enjoyment of participating on our board.

    If there's ever a need to intervene for some reason (which I will try to do politely) please be assured it will be in what I consider to be the best interests of the board and never personal.

    Well done, Brix. An excellent appointment. Northolt was pretty crafty announcing your appointment, letting you receive the accolades and then asking if you'll accept! Between the two of you, we'll be admirably served.
