<ok> Good to hear! A few more good displays/performances will help build the confidence levels for next Saturday.

I ...we did ok and sounded dangerous again going forward with Gyan and Sess so all in all a canny work out.

alright chaps just got back from the game

was a canny run out for the lads pools never realy looked like scoring (bar the goal obv.) but played well up until the last third, pressured us all over the park which made it difficult for the lads.

    IMO

Mignolet - Was ok nother special but done nothing wrong
Bardsley - Quite impressed with him got forward more and played it along the deck, its when he starts hoofing it which annoys me but he never tonight
Ferdinand - Steady throughout done nothing wrong
Brown - Looked good next to Ferdinand
Richardson - Whoever says he aint bothered n shows no passion should of seen the 50/50 he went into after about 5mins, looked good and composed on the ball
Elmohamady - Needs to learn how to cross, you would think every1 was 20ft tall
Colback - Neat and Tidy, and scored a good goal
Cattermole - Briliant, never stopped running and talking to the lads. Was breaking the play and starting up the attacks
Larsson - Looked canny but he aint a left winger and we defo need one ASAP!!!
Sessegnon - MOTM Was leaving 3 at a time on there backsides
    Gyan - Was decent

Sess is looking integral to our hopes this season. Bruce seems intent on this 4-4-1-1 as a major ploy next season, which is fine, it looks good, but it worries me if he's not in the market for another striker. There will be times we need 2 up top and 3 doesn't cover that, with or without classing Sess as one.

It looks as though Gyan's still getting up to speed, hopefully he'll be fine by the 13th!

agree but priority has to be Left Wing we are desperate and I meen desperate for one I know half the lads were not involved tonight but if Malbranque goes there is no-one I can think of who can play there apart from Sessegnon and he should stay in the middle

as for the darlo game unfortunately I can't make it

    yep we set up...

    Mig

    Bardo - Ferdinand - Brown - Richardson

    Elmo - Colback - Catts - Larsson

    Sess - Gyan

Brown and Richardson wer forming a good partnership on the left hand side of the defence working well as a team just need that winger in

Go onto the official SAFC.com website.

All the friendlies have had live radio commentary with Rob Mason and James Craggs. They are good too, even if Rob Mason is so biased and one dimensional in his comments. We could be 50 - 0 down but Rob will still see positives and a way back. Lol.

What happened in your childhood that left you with a disposition of needing someone to hate to be able to face each day? You get very personal about people you have never met.

Cheers. Must be how he's going to start the season. KR left back, i don't mid that, he looked canny there the few games he got at the start of last season there.

I still fancy us to get 2 in still. By the end of august.
