Chelsea was it by luck than Robert stayed up north to ride the winner a min ago! And not travel to Goodwood? Just annoyed I spotted it too late <laugh>

Good stuff again mate ! Nice price second this is the stuff that people pay for and we get it for free on here <cheers>

I did today's 3 in a trixie, annoying though as SS will likely win payout would of been huge.

Winston never seems to ride TS anymore for some reason wooly

I'm fine thank you Mick, good to see you back. Last time I saw your name was ages ago, you were working in the Black Sea or the Med or somewhere, I cannot remember exactly. Yep, North Sea can be rough any day of the year, doesn't care which season it is. Had many workboats under my wing, at different times, in those early North Sea days, Smit Lloyd mostly. Here's one of the old Smit Lloyd 9 "riding high"***

***Moved this video clip to "Discuss anything other..." thread, which is more appropriate!

The milers showing again there is nothing between them, Awtaad doesnt seem to have kept progressing with them and it would be hard to fancy him again even on soft, had his day in the Irish Guineas. Ribchester showed just how good a bet he was at Ascot, as Bob says, will be interesting if he keeps improving but he might have been flattered today and dont think id fancy him to beat them next time, he didnt quite have the gears at a vital stage.

I think the Derby form is the best in Europe again and Harzand the best 3yo overall, La Cressonniere and Minding are both top fillies.

Harzand vs Postponed in the King George would have been a great race, but maybe they will meet in the Arc with the 2 fillies as well.

Just looked at the betting there and not surprised to see those 4 in the top 5 of the betting.

That was impressive from SENATOR. Looked very green and exuberant but couldn't keep up when the others kicked on. However he found another gear and won a shade cosily.

Cheers Swanny. With internet probs and log in probs (too many lappy changes) I haven't been on too much...other than to sponge tips!!!!
Things looking up now and hope to post more. I enjoy this site.
Just celebrating 40 years of owning a discharge book and my birthday.
Sold my share in "Money Maid" which will probably go on to better things when she goes chasing, but a good friend has bought shares in 4 syndicated horses which could be well handicapped and will win races. Don't know where or when yet...but will keep you and the forum well informed.
The video brings back many memories.....pity the camera man couldn't stand up when the weather got bad!!!! Not joking either!!!
    Those were the days!!!
