I think Rashford had showed a lot more than Mcburnie, I am not saying Mcburnie wont be a good striker, he is nowhere near the first team yet and if he does I hope he pulls his ****ing socks up and his shorts down a bit. His legs are so skinny he looks ridiculous. The one I have been disappointed with in pre-season is Gorre he has been given very little time on the pitch and I actually thought we would have seen a bit more of him.
Yes my thoughts too, Jinx has lost the plot, it's staggering that given last season's relegation battle, we are still waiting for a decent striker with just 2 weeks to go for the start of the season..........
Surely though I know nothing was signed but hj and the Yanks should have had they transfer plans organised before the official unveiling, so that we could have put in place something even though they weren't owners. You have to wonder as well how Guidolin is feeling, if it was me I would be moaning like **** and not just behind closed doors.
They should have had the targets in place, bids agreed etc between them and as soon as the takeover was done they should have gone straight after the targets immediately. I had no confidence in these Yanks before they signed given the way it was handled etc, now I'm terrified of them destroying us.
How could I .... Bony had a chance , Paloschi didn't . All I said was Bony scored 2 goals in his first 9 games and went on to have a great stint with us . Paloschi scored 2 goals in his first 7 games and didn't get a chance past that . Let me put double standards another way around here . Bony scored 24 goals for us over 2 seasons at a rate of a goal every 160 minutes and is described as awesome . Ulloa scored 17 goals for the Foxes over 2 seasons at a rate of a goal every 180 minutes and is described as sh:t .....what this tells me is some don't know what they're talking about .
I cant say if Paloschi would have been any good or not as we never really seen much of him to make a judgement to be fair, and i remember fans on here slagging bony off including me that he was a waste of money at the beginning....I think whoever we get now we wont think much of him at the beginning as he wont have the games under his belt to gel with his team mates.....Christ we dont think much of any of the names mentioned already and they are not even here yet..... Whoever we do get we must as fans give him a chance to find his feet and that could take time or if we are lucky he will score on his debut and looks the part.....Paloschi we never really saw what he can do...
'Paloschi we never really saw what he can do' I'll say one thing for him, he worked his socks off, the games he did play, but he clearly didn't impress enough, unless he just didn't settle here, and wanted to go back to Italy, our climate isn't the best..........
I remember I thought Paloschi was brilliant at first too , but we all have our own thoughts . I'm sure a lot of Fox fans thought Ulloa looked great scoring 5 goals in his first 5 games and then helping them crawl away from relegation .And then scoring his share last season to help guide the Foxes to the title . Bony and Ulloa both played over 3000 minutes for their respective clubs , but Ulloa was subbed twice as much . Anyways , I guess we don't have to worry about Ulloa coming to the club , just came out in the press he wants to stay where he is . Funny how strikers don't want to come to us anymore ....and when they do ....they wanna leave , well, I guess it's more worryisome than funny .

Basically if we don't sign Bony, I'll feel that we have failed to bring in a top quality striker. Anyone else is a compromise.
We'll have failed to bring in anyone of any quality since Cork in Jan 2015. Anyone other than a Bony leading our attack this season doesn't bear thinking about. Trouble is, if someone comes in with offers around £20 million for Ayew or Gylfi, they'll be gone too, then we will be stuffed.
