Heck, Wooly, you don't have to do that. Think BostonBob will confirm that you are definitely not in his official registry of forum aftertimers. Good grief, maybe I am?
For someone who supposedly rides Goodwood so well Frankie boy didn't give the favourite a very good ride there...pretty much like the ride he gave Shwaimsa in the last yesterday. Davy top jockey though.
Just looked at the replay of the 16:10 at Galway. My God, Russell absolutely whacked the hell out of Sea Light the last furlong or so. Surely he must be stood down for that? Damn near flogged the poor animal to death.
I'm sure I am, even once had the temerity to say I backed Haafhd in 2004. Got nailed for historic aftertiming!
It was rough by him alright but I'd guess he'd argue that the horse kept finding. He even gave him a crack with two strides to the line.
Went from 6s into 2s Swanny. The commentator on ATR reckons that sort of shift in the market at Galway takes a serious amount of cash. He had to look like like he was giving it his all. Doesn't excuse it but it must play on a jockey's mind when there's a substantial investment attached.
Yes, Chaninbar, I understand that, but it did look pretty bad though. What are the 'use of whip' rules in Ireland? I honestly don't know.
Lads, it was a terrible ride. He knew he was in the **** with the way he dropped it in straight away when there was little pace on. Of course he's going to hammer it to win. It's Davy's way. Awful racer.
To be honest Bob I wasn't looking at Russell's ride on the horse. This is the first time I've really watched the racing at Galway and if I was on a favourite I'd be out in front. It's such a tight track that you're in the lap of the gods if you're trying to come from of the pace. I'd also be about 3 stone overweight.
great result for the tic, glad I lost me wee bet. Shame on me for doing it, we'll win was at parkhead! Plus had a score on the gurkha!
