Not a bad result given the injuries. Is there a post match interview?

Just back from Barnsley, not a great game, though Barnsley played better than us overall. Clucas my MOM, 3 U21's in the starting line up and more introduced later on. I guess 2-2 was a good result under the circumstances. Jarrod Bowen who scored a good goal looks promising. 150 City fans there.

Edit: Played in the new home strip.

P.S. Martinez was rumoured to be at Barnsley tonight. Never saw him, so don't know whether true or not.

Thought we stunk the place out John. Awful awful game. Barnsley really up for it.
    Elmo didn't give a nack.
The poor young CB was given a really hard time. Big physical side Barnsley but knocked it about we'll too.
Tymon. Had a real stinker. Completely misjudged one in the first ten minutes. Think it blew his confidence.
Though it was Curtis who got done for the first goal. Good header. GK no chance.

Mo did some great things again bu had too do mcshane running all over, same with clucas and Maloney. Knitted things together. But with dio high up one side and Peter high up the other it was a bizarre formation.
How's Peter going to get a contract stuck out there??? Then having to track back to his 18 yard box.

Barnsley pushed up to 5 yards from the halfway line yet we rarely knocked it behind them. Luer never spun his man once. Very poor and weak. The times we did in the first half we scored or nearly scored.
Dio looks lost. You can se peters been a player.

Second half their manager had em in the changing room five extra minutes. Came out fired up. We didn't turn up. ReAlly good goal for them, Bradshaw looks good. Quick interchange and an early cross.take note city. Instead of back across to the other side back to Curtis. Etc etc

Peter cut in tried to get between two defenders claiming a pen .the ball broke to Bowen and he finished well again.
Abel came on and did a few flicks, missed a 1 on 1 with the keeper.
They must have had a treble the shots of us.
Their 6 played well and the sub 5 came on like a maniac.

We need a CB in the building asap.

My mate reckoned he could see Bobby in. The directors box. Mind he's a Scarborough fan and he was star struck see Geoff bionic barmby in the city end.

Have to agree with your summary. Well I think you said in a 150 words what I said in 20.

P.S. Was Jeff there, didn't see him? (For **** sake Chazz get the spelling of his first name right, lazy Journalism ) I used to play against him back in the day.

Yes, they put an apostrophe in every word ending in the letter s even when it is a plural.<laugh>

Good report BTW. Some thought we were impressive and a 2-2 draw was a good result. At least you are realistic.

Are RH and HDM now both on the naughty step ?

No media interviews just an in-house cosy-up.

Slightly concerning. Given Barnsley have only just got into the league we got promoted from.

The club is an utter mess, awful kits, no manager, no players, cock end owners.

As a further match report. I hate slating kids. Clack stone the CB is really a right back being played at CB. I think, sterling? He stuck at it. He was having enough trouble with the CF but they then made him mark their CB at corners. Kinell give the kid a break.
Tymon was shattered by 75 minutes. Surprised they.didnt bring him off. It's a big step up for a kid just turned 17.

It shouldnt matter who the manager is someone at the club needs to sign a CB now to give him a chance to get used to the team. A new manager would be grateful cos we can't go in to the pl like this

Their number 5 is called Sessi D'almeida. A 20 year old free agent. Been at Bordeaux and PSG. Reminded me of a young Edgar Davids. I would sign him now.
