Bony is far better than Ayew as a striker all day long jager ....If the swap deal is on the cards then we must do it,,....

Would we be willing to pay Allen almost 60 thousand a week ?....That is what Stoke will have to fork over , pretty sure we weren't willing to ..We are not reknown for getting into bidding wars either , i
Straight across Imo , I'd even deduct a bit ofmoneythey owed us if that's what it took to get Bony and he wanted to come

Dai, he's hardly played over the last season due to injuries and sitting on a bench. Sorry but Ayew scored 12 last season, Bony scored 4 in the premier league.

From what I've seen he's on over £100k a week, so his wage demand will be high, far higher than £60k

As long as bony has been involved with the first team which he has then thats good enough and he is a proper striker which Ayew is not....

Ya , I'm with you on this one dai , Bony only played over 1000 minutes last season and got 4 goals and 3 assists .
We know where to play Bony , that's not the case with Ayew at times.
26 goals in 56 Appearences for us is pretty impressive

Bony also linked up well with Gylfi.

Assuming Bony arrives & Ayew goes, could/should we sign Chadli ?

Only Bony is the Answer (to the tune of the old Smarties ad)

Apparently Liverpool are interested in Ayew .
Would anyone have traded Ayew for Allen ?

Another one of Huw's blunders, giving Arab oil Billionaires credit? I've heard different figures that are outstanding, from £8 Million to £16 Million, incredible to say the least, how can he be sold to Everton, when Citeh have not fully paid for him?..........<ok>

I'd take a straight swap all day long but I'd much rather see them play up front together with Gylfi feeding the balls through to them.

If we had Bony and another decent striker then yes. With the current striking situation, no.

If we fiddled Vorm's transfer to avoid paying anything to Utrecht I am sure City could do something similar to avoid paying anything to us when transferring Bony.

To me trading Allen straight across for Ayew is ludicrous under any conditions and shows unsound judgement by biased and left over emotional feelings from Welsh fans from Euro ... sorry , but that's my thoughts .
I'm actually glad Allen has moved on and Swansea can move on with hunting good deals from across the world . I wouldn't have minded him coming if it was for the right price and early .
The whole fiasco was putting the club in stress trying to appease fans from Wales after Euro and I'm just glad it's over

It's £8m they owe us, they paid £9m initially plus the vat, then paid £8m in January 2016 with a further £8m due in January 2017. Selling him would mean they would have to pay us early I think. But I think that this big club forced us to accept instalments as Bony was determined to leave. I think this is something that should be looked at imo. A player yesterday transferred from Napoli to Juventus for £76m under instalments as well, which is hardly fair, if you want a player then pay in full.
