prob where i'm thinking... but we will see. 56mil in gives us a nice kitty to go buy a LB. and maybe scope to throw money at dahoud.

wages wises i'm not sure. we'd thrown in a few guys now that i don't know what they will be paid. Mane, wijnaldum... would they be 100k? nobody has discussed this yet. matip will be on at least skertl money. klavan is prob paying us to play. manninger is working for hair plug moeny.

True..
Think Sakho was only going to be backup to what many people think is his preferred pairing of Lovern and Matip..
When fit, Gomez will most likely provide cover for RB and CB and we have Ragnar as backup too..
But, if Sakho is sold, we're one injury crisis away from next to no one at CB... so agree, another "backup" CB maybe bought in..
Don't think that backup will be Wisdom, think the lad is heading out, not sure we'll get much for him, but then again, if we can get near 6m for Smith, we should be able to haggle a decent amount for this lad :D

yeah this does throw up questions. I think if sahko goes however we would be looking at not a back up but a front line guy. Jonathon Tah please

For me though if you look right now. thursday we will be playing Lovern and Klavan and wisdom will be on bench and thats it.

By all accounts Matip will be good to go at the start of the season, Gomez should be ready by the end of August.
Agree, Sakho goes we do need to go in for another CB..
 
@Tobes Evrton have met the £7.1m release clause of Idrissa Guaye from Villa.. CM. £7m on him, £12m on Arnautovic.

Think Arnautovic will be decent enough signing for you, good wide option to add to Miralles and DElefaou. Not sure on the CM though, hard to really judge if any of the Villa players have potential really, CM definitely could do with an upgrade, like for us, as Barry can't go on all season and Besic/McCarthy are safe but unspectacular.
