    This is one of the dullest transfer windows I can remember so far. Although I took a look across other teams in the prem and quite a few are in a similar situation.

    Is a good window signing loads of players you may have never heard of?

    Maybe you haven't seen the news that VvD, JwP, FF, SL signed new deals (think I forgot someone), Redmond and Hoyberg signed, new manager, new assistant, new deal for Goal Keeping coach.

    Yep, **** all really...

    Oh and our Ryan too (thanks Tom :emoticon-0105-wink:)...

    Exactly, but any upgrade in the 'being able to defend' part (not difficult in this case) of a CB's role will see them improve and pocket cash from letting go of Stones.

    Now saying "who" would ruin the excitement wouldn't it - the club and its black box can manage the "who"

    So, taking into account we need a squad to manage 2 games a week

    Gk - cover needed if gaz goes on loan
    LB strong
    Rb strong ish
    CBs a 3rd quality CB needed
    Midfield - a quality AMC needed
    Forwards - we have sold something like 30 goals worth of players this summer haven't we (pelle and mane) ? I would say there is a bit of a hole there to fill. I agree Austin might plug this to some extent.

    So 3/4 players needed to cope with europe and everything else
