Amazing isn't it. How come his logic didn't work for Lampard. Technically average player but commercially non-existent. Strange that.
Following a meeting with his agent Mino Raiola in Miami, Paul Pogba posted this picture on Instagram with the caption "we say it all by saying nothing at all". Made me laugh. Blatant piss take out of Utd spending 100mil on him after him leaving for nothing, laughing his arse of about it too
Raiola is clearly wearing Utd branded swim shorts. We threw them in to seal the deal. So the picture really does tell a thousand words
Had Fergie still been your boss do you think this transfer would happen or is Jos£ chequebook living up to his name?
Course it wouldn't - SAF publicly stated he wouldn't work with Pogba or his agent after he left. If you're going to try and wum, at least have a credible question with which to do so
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...nt-over-agents-fees-mino-raiola-a7156246.html - Raiola is a dk!!!
I didnt know he publicaly stated that so it was a credible question I did know that he said something, publicly, about not not getting into a contract with that mob over at Madrid and wouldnt sell them a virus, but then he did! So just because he'd said that about this awful agent and a smiling Pogba, doesnt mean that this transfer might not have happened had he still been with your lot
Apparently the agent is now asking for £25m instead of the £20m (20% of the fee) in the contract. United are agreeable as long as it is shared. Juventus are refusing point blank. And to emphasise the point are saying they wont pay a single penny never mind £12,5m. Unless Woodward gives in (which I hope he doesn't) to the agent's naked greed, then the deal is dead.
Woodward should just blank the deal. There is sufficient information out there for people to understand why we pulled the plug, the agent will be well and truly stuffed in terms of any future dealings with major clubs and Juve will be particularly stuffed having just 'lost' themselves £100 million in transfer fees
no deal is loss for everyone involved. so, this looks like to be last minute deal on dead line day - provided the fax machine works ofcourse.
I wouldn't be upset too. I was hoping that we would just get a straight deal even at £100m. But the naked greed shown by the agent (apparently endorsed by the player) is just plain wrong. I may be wrong but this is how it looks to me. If it means getting Matuidi as a second best, so be it. United did their best to get him but there is always a line to be drawn. I hate for United to be taken as mugs even when they have the financial clout and money to burn. There is no doubt in my mind that United are far ahead and the club to catch as far as money making is concerned. But this is about football not money.
Would be funny to see what happened if we did - apparently Juve now feel so screwed around by Raiola that they don't want to work with him ever again. Which would make future negotiations interesting...
So Juve have now officially paid out £73m for Higuain and will need to get some money back fast. Time to tell them to accept the £100m for Pogba and pay the agents fee out of it or **** off and find another buyer.
I'm going to try this on with my estate agent next week and see if I can't have the buyer pay the fees.
If Juve is willing to sell, isn't the only thing holding up the deal here the player himself? I mean, his Agent actually has no power whatsoever if he doesn't own rights to the player, which I don't think is the case. Then why is the player not setting his agent straight? I hope we pull out of this sht. The Agent is a complete twat and it seems fully approved by the player. Juve is in a bit of stitch too here having paid insane amount for Higuain. This episode epitomizes how pathetic football has become. It is now all about money and nothing more. Sad!
