Marching on 6th Aug? Bit weird, and as its on the same day as Humber St Sesh it's not going to catch the local news as much either Leave it to HCST to come up with a coherent strategy (and have Dutch as Creative Director of Comedy)
Not that stupid if you make sure the media are aware of the protest. Yes I agree a protest before the match would be okay but from experience no one would give up their two hours before kickoff chewing the fat in the pub talking about protesting instead of actually doing any. You certainly wouldn't get the majority marching from the city centre.
Icelandic chant with "Allams" & "Out" repeated consecutively.and then just "Out" as the tempo increases
By August 6th we will have a new manager in place and probably have signed half a dozen new players. The march is futile. I admire those responsible for planning it but believe me it will be a flop.
Still think walking from beech tree pub passed Senior Allams house and onto swanland passed Ehabs house would do more good. At least then they and their neighbours will hear us unless they get out of the way but walking from town they will not take any interest in.
Did somebody just forget which league we're in and plan a march for the wrong weekend? Surely, we should be doing it the next week.
Seems to me we're missing the obvious here. As it seems few if any are liable to join in, we should announce loads, and just call them pro-Allam marches instead, et voila, point made, minimum effort.
Not sure about the number of signings, but I also think it will be a flop...which would be worse than no protest
Facts regarding August 6th...... It's my wife's birthday and the anniversary marking the first nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
