For me, he made up for lack of ability in other area's. Commitment & loyalty have always featured high on my list, probably why I like Franny so much.

 

I can't help but feel he'll be found out at a higher level, as evidenced by his England performances. I think he was protected quite a lot having Kante beside him and always having 2 outlets in Mahrez & Vardy. I don't think he's got enough about him to cope with being man marked, which will happen much more this season as he was responsible for setting up a lot of Leicesters attack next season.

Musa is definitely an interesting signing, I'm not convinced he'll set the world alight - but you never know under Ranieri!

I don't know the numbers but he would have been the highest paid player at Stoke (I am sure I read somewhere), ahead of Shaqiri/Bojan/Diouf who are not cheap. So he might be quietly relieved not to get him on a multi-year contract.

 

You got me wrong, I love franny for his passion and loyalty etc. I know he is a really decent bloke, my dad taught him at school and was always saying how nice he was. I just wanted to know what everyone thought of his ability, compared to shaw, bale, bridge et al.
