Anyone going to the game tonight? I'm going along with the owld man tonight and realy looking forward to seeing a couple of the new lads in action (Wes Brown and Seb Larsson) bit gutted Ji isn't in the squad for tonight as he seems to be the player of pre-season so far but with Gyan and Sess there it should be interesting to see how the Pools defence do.

    Probable team tonight

    ----------------- Mignolet -----------------

    Elmohamady - Brown -- Ferdinand - Bardsley

    Larsson - Cattermole -- Colback - Richardson

    -------- Sessegnon ---- Gyan -------------

subs: Laing, Carson, Tounkara, Reed, Cook

Should be a good game and a more competitive game as we are getting closer to the season. I am glad Brucie is only taking 5 subs as it won't be swapping everything around at half time/in the second half.

Heard we have sold more tickets than the home fans and talking of fans will be interesting to see the reception Solano gets from us lot with him being an ex Mag.

    going for a 2-0 win

I've just had a phone call to inform me that Hartlepool have opened up a further section for Sunderland fans who want to pay at the door tonight...I can't make it, but my eldest son is going to get the train down

Im there too, cant wait to see the lads! We sold out with 1500 tickets, so if Pools are opening an extra part of the stadium, we should have about 200 fans there tonight!! Im looking forward to a good atmosphere and hopefully a goal fest!!

A decent performance would be a start FFH, still no O'Shea again any ideas as to what's up with him if anything?

    Colback?

Nice....If he adds goals as well, Catts is ****ED.

Typical that an ex-Mag scored for the hangers like.
