I'm all for a protest march against the despicable two, but having it on 6th August, pre season and whilst City are in Austria, seems completely bizare to me.

If it was pre match on 13th, id be there in a flash. Plus, the world's media would also be present and much more likely to get exposure.

The whole planning/idea seems a bit dis-jointed at the moment (no offense to whoever has organised this). In principle, it's a good idea imo

We should also make sure the TV and radio commentators know what the protest is about. Brief them on twitter. Don't expect them to find out about it by reading the banners. It may even be mentioned in the buildup if we get the point across effectively.

For that we'd need to know who the commentators are going to be for the said games. If I find out before hand, I'll pass it on.

Not really, just send a press release to all the national and regional sports and news media outlets and you're covered. And as said above, a bit of direct social media contact with links back to the press release will help.

How have you made that leap? I already said the 6th is a ridiculous date to hold it.

I won't go 'whatever day it's on'. If it's 6th August I won't be there.if it's on 13th and it appears to be an effective, well organised and well attended event then I will.

Not quite sure why you're singleing me out to ask.

If you want the protest to be noticed against Leicester live on tv, then 'visually' is not going to do it as the Sky cameras will focus on what they want, however they're not going to turn the sound off. Singing nothing but 'Allam Out' for 90 minutes would probably do it.

That's my take on it anyhow

You seem ideally placed to be the man for this surely?

Why do you say that? I've never organised a protest march in my life.

The organiser of this march has just been on RH, he's not the ideal spokesman for a campaign, all the stuff about the new sponsor was dreadful.

Hopefully HCST will come up with something a little more focused at their board meeting tonight.

Marching through Hull pre-season could get exclusive news coverage if planned correctly.

Pre-Leicester it would just be a small additional to the game, that's if the press could be arsed to report it at all. They'll have the Champions in town, kicking off the new PL season, will they be that arsed? One thing for definite, on either day, the Allam's won't give a flying ****.

To make them take note, imo, protests/ marches should be directed towards their front door. Disrupt the ****'s lives. Disrupt their whole ****ing existence. Their work, their rest & their play, direct everything straight down their throats.. Everywhere they go they should have a protest in their faces. Don't give the ****ers a yard.

Everywhere they go, they'll ****ing know, we're Hull City.

This is a fair shout. The only other thing Sky cant avoid would be vast empty seats when the Pl champions are in town..Surely the media would question that??

FAR FAR FAR . be it for me to say, I just hope that this protest is kept within the right boundaries. Its a common cause and what we don't need is some loons invading the pitch and squaring up to the 'royal' box. I'm all for voicing our contempt, anger and disgust, but we need to get the media and Prem football fans on our side and solo's going off on a tangent will just make us look shabby.

Yes, 22,500 turning up, protesting against Allam, and supporting the players will be far more impressive testament to any potential buyer and far more encouraging to the players than everyone staying at home. Trying to remain positive even in the face of everything the Allams throw at us is the best response.

I've said it a few times, but I think the angry, bitter approach hasn't worked. It needs a proper 'ull piss take now.

    Ridicule hurts egos.

What about getting pith helmets and going on a hunt for the Hull Tiger?

We could have reported sitings all over the region.

I'm sure I saw one feasting on Hull Cheese.
