It's been mentioned before but Maurice Swan was on the crew and actually won an award for his work - electrician I think.
I forgot to add Sergeant Bilko, I got a complete set on DVD a few years ago and the comedy holds up remarkably well after nearly 60 years.

I've always maintained that "I, Claudius" was primarily a Black Comedy. It certainly had some hilarious scenes in it! Also, Wire in the Blood was an epic series ... thanks for reminding me.
