Jenkins have not matched Stokes bid its as simple as that and its no surprise......Just two weeks away now and we kick off with not a single quality player bought, they have all been players that their clubs dont want and prepared to let go......
What players are you talking about? The ones who left us to go where the grass is greener on the other side? We didn't need Allen at almost £15m that Stoke paid, we have an abundance of players already here in that position. It's more important to spend money where it's needed, I'm sure even you realise that!
Never mind the grass is greener rubbish we needed Joe Allen and we could have got Joe Allen if we had a Chairman with some sense and vision. Ayew now looks to be leaving, Leon cant play every game and we dont offer enough to persuade one of our own to come home.....He was a perfect player for us....
We have a reasonable squad , a squad that Guidolin got 25 points out of in the last 16 games of the season when he came in .A squad that we retain without 2 players , Paloschi and Eder which represents 7 starts and 2 goals . The last 2 games last season were superb efforts . We will sign a few more players , a striker for sure . But to go off your rocker , like some , that all is lost with this squad already is painting a panicky picture ....which means we are about to embark on a season in the Premier again ....our 6th . I guess all is lost though , if we don't sign Allen .
We dont have a reasonable squad at all.....Where have we strengthened by and dont say we dont need to after last seasons fiasco.....Should Ayew and Gylfi go which looks more likely every day then we are a very week side that even Burnley and Bournemouth who has strengthened look stronger than we do....There is only one team i can see that are weaker than us and that is Hull...Thats not good is it......i dont think so anyway and the way i hear fans speak they are not confident.....
No we don't, it's that simple! And as for Ayew it's all speculation and rumour, for a man who supposedly deals in facts I would have thought you'd realise what is facts instead of crass rumours from the gutter press.
Last season's fiasco left at the beginning of December, and we had a huge change of direction after he went. Our season was good after that with a points total that gave the 2nd best total since we came up. You twist it anyway you want be we were 12th with 47 points
Or we will get a lower league striker that has scored 50 odd goals but will only manage a handful in the premiership

Well I wasn't posting here last season at all, but I know that Dai would be doing what he does every season, and that is place blame on Huw, wants us to spend £50m every window, say that if we don't spend such numbers we will be relegated. And so it is here!

I am reading all these clubs being linked to Ayew, I have seen a lot of transfers go through with these clubs and they have been paying big money. So why do they think they can get a Swansea player who scored 12 goals last season for 12m. Where do people get their valuations from, is it still that they see us as a pathetic little club who will just take what is offered as we are desperate for money, Is it they see how little we are prepared to spend on players and believe we will see 12m as a lot of money, I just don't get it, If Ayew was at Southampton and he had done that there last season it would have been in the 25m - 30m, so why do we always seem to sell on the cheap.
