Crofts.

Declan Rudd, might be a massive step up but the lad has a lot of potential at the same time I think we might need an older Goalkeeper with experience.

I don't buy into what Lambert is saying about getting just one more player in, we need to get some defenders in.

 

I thought i included CROFTS, Thats 21, not sure if Korey and Rudd count .

 

Dare I mention wilbraham? Before he got injured I felt he had just got good. He's not a scoring striker but he creates opportunities. Thought he did this well against doncaster, despite the edp rating him at 5.

I'm not sure about mcnamee, did well first half of the season then he wasn't played. But I won't doubt lamberts judgement!

Personally I'm fine with our squad at the moment. Any addition I'll be happy with. However 9 strikers at the moment is rather a lot!

 

Could we not go with 1-1-9 formation just to outscore the opposition?

 

I've no doubt that's something lambert would consider if we were 1-0 down against arsenal with 10 minutes to go!

 

Naughton makes 22......3 Players left......Lansbury?? and a keeper should do it...

 

Wilbraham, the guy is massively underrated. A few good performance in the reserves he'll make the bench. Pbert sees an opportunity for him to shake up a game (extra height required?) that's the role he can play. Similarly with chrissy Martin. He IS good enough to start, everyone in the team is. It's up to the individual to shine.

Competition will be fierce, and everyone faces the potential chop. No-one is exempt. Holty, hoolahan no-one.

 

Interesting thing is we could have 2 decent, but maybe not Prem standard 11s out of these players, with Rudd/Ruddy, R Martin/Naughton Barnett/Whitbred Ward/De Laet Drury/Tierney Fox/Johnson Crofts/Bennett/Smith Lappin/Surman/Pilkinton Hoolahan/Jackson Vaughan/Holt Morrison/Wilbraham/C Martin...

 

How many players are in so far? I think we have 2 more places left on the CANARY EXPRESS 2011 2012????

 

I do not think PL will sign anybody else. He will probably just make up the 25 from a couple of players ' available for transfer ' as I cannot see us getting rid of all them before the season starts.

 

Maybe Lappin and Wibraham will take the last two spots?

 

I think Wilbrahams was in the 23. I forgot Lappin - won't get a game unless there is a serious injury crisis but handy belt and braces cover for left back and left midfield. Leaves 1 place. Probably go to which midfielder is still here at the end of August - Hughes or Macnamee.

 

I never really rated Macnamee, bags of pace but not much else in the locker. Hughes was good whenever he came in.. Anyone know when the squad numbers will be announced ?
