It's all been said really - decent bloke, not perfect (who is?), brought us great success and much excitement.
It seems all we can hope for now is that the Allams sell quickly and whoever buys can recover our situation.
    Good luck Steve!

Steve Bruce benefited from an extra £40 million from the Allams' together with the millions we got from two seasons in the Premier League. In the first season we got more money than the previous season's champions. This season two of his early targets were Isaac Hayden and Nick Powell. Nick Powell, whilst on loan, played two games before his injury and Isaac hardly played towards the end of the season. If you only had £18 million to spend and needed 6 players would these be the first two that came to mind to keep us up?

Yes, Steve Bruce got us promoted twice, took us to the FA Cup Final and led us in Europe. I've seen some great matches under his management. He also provided us with Peterborough United at home, Bristol City at home, Barnsley away, Milton Keynes at home and last but not least Hull City 0 Newcastle United 3. That match relegated us and we were awful.

Last season I thought we under-achieved apart from some notable exceptions.

The way he left has all the hallmarks of the Allams' attitude but deep down I suspect that, without them, far more people would have been calling for him to be sacked.

As Liam says "football moves on" and we'll see who we get as our next manager. It should give us some idea of the Allams' ambitions for the future of Hull City AFC.

As Ehab made no attempt to sign anyone Bruce wanted, to force him out of the club, it really doesn't make any difference who his target were.

Wouldn't that be constructive dismissal in any other job?

He spent millions when he first took the club up but he also because of the success we had under him brought in a lot more, the two promotions, F.A cup final, semi final at Wembley, play offs at Wembley, Europe, He left with the club in what should be in a great financial state. Cause he didn't always get it right infact at times he made some stupid mistakes but overall in such a short period of time at a small premier league club he as done fantastically well for me. He can leave this club with is head held high and I will always remember him for his honesty everything that Ehab Allam is not.

I remember when Barmby got fired, you were all ready to slit your wrists then, I think we all agree that Barmby was great on the pitch, but as manager? he sucked
Now SB has walked,.. Again you are all poised with a razor blade and you are laying the blame, rightly or wrongly at the Allams door. SB isnt very good as a manager. if he was, he would probably still be at Birmingham challenging in PL..
if I was bankrolling the club, Id want to make sure that we arent a yoyo club or in a relegation dogfight every season. Businessmen are the best type of owners cos they arent hampered by emotion, can you imagine running a business with emotion only?
heh **** you would be bankrupt within a year. "Im not letting go of that player cos he is like family, just cos he is getting into his 50's?"
I am backing Allams cos as businessmen, they are best for Hull City.
They have upset some precious ppl by calling them names.
what I find hilarious is that ppl 'protest' by singing in the KCom stadium.
AA is left laughing all the way to the bank, "yeah you showed him"

a lot of you bend what they have done to fit your argument, Im sure that what they are doing is best for the club.
I have retired from going for my own reasons, but that makes me less of a fan in some peoples eyes, if it makes you feel better to line AA's pockets so you can sing 'protest' songs at 19:04, go ahead.
Why dont you scabs get a plackard and make a picket line at the gates of KCOM?
find out if those that sing at 19:04 will stand by their principles and actually boycott the game.or whether they want to just carry on regardless. I suspect that many of them will not mind lining the pockets of the Allams as long as they get to see PL football.

He is also a lucky manager for me and you can't buy that kind of thing, not many managers bounce back too like he did last season by taking us back up, and even if he did seem to be riding without a saddle a lot of the time with a dozen odd defeats against crap teams we still made it back up.

You forgot to mention we destroyed the two teams above us too.
    What a lucky manager.
