the Allam family took over hull city left in debt by another bad owner, they made grand promises like cheap tickets and that the money they put in was a gift to the club. the gift turned out to a loan with interest and ticket prices went up 30 percent each year for 2 seasons and one of them a relegation year, they then decide to sell the club to the Americans led by Peter Grieve, we understand a deal had been arranged before promotion but the Allams said no we want more money now we are promoted so a new deal was agreed but yet again the Allams are rumoured to suddenly want 6 million for the stadium management company that was already included in the agreed deal this led to American investors to walk away, then Bruce told 18 million to spend on players only to find that the club are not trying to sign players and are not willing to spend 18 million on players, of course some of this is rumoured. The fight with fans started with Hull City Council the Allams approached the council with an idea to build on the land around the stadium, this sounded a great idea, but Allams wanted the stadium signed over to them for nothing, so they could mortgage the stadium which was paid for with a lot of money from the council and other grants which cost 50 million to build when the council said they would have to buy it off the council they had a dummy fit and then later decided to change the name of the club to drop the word city from the club name, saying the word city is common thus starting a fight the Hull city fans, the fans group was called City till i die and Allam was reported in the press to say they can go and die, so the fans who welcomed him as a savior no see him as a man that wants to kill the club all because he could not get his own way with the Hull city council. it is estimated he has taken about 30 million pounds out of the club in interest charges by loading the club with debt which allows him to lower his tax paid on his other business just like Man utd owners just on a smaller scale, now no buyer in sight they have decided to take as much money out the club by keeping players wages down and running cost down and by screwing the fans for as much money as possible ie membership scheme, so we ask all football fans don't put money in the Allams pocket by watching your team at Hull city if you do you will find plenty of empty seats as a large group of fans walked in an attempted to have concession prices reinstated for children,OAP,students and disabled people.
Sounds as clandestine as Street Countdown tbh... It's like normal Countdown but it's played on the street.
Couldn't be arsed to wade through the OP but what Allam has done is clearly very wrong. Saying that, it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch, so, to be frank, **** em.
Now then, one club is shoe in for relegation even before the season started?? This screws up the competition in the bottom half way too much. booooo Tigers!!
