Lots of fans have written him off cos he's 23ish and not cracked the first team properly yet.

He's a big lad, tidy finisher and strong on the ball, but I'm not sure how he'll fair in this league. You've got to take a gamble though at that price, you're unlikely to get a proven PL scorer for that sort of money and he could turn out to be a good PL player.

He got injured last season and that opened up the door for Rashford. So he's probably fell further back now, him and Wilson probably don't have a future here.

Moyes will have seen a lot more of him that I have, I'm sure you can trust him.

I've seen quite a bit of him in the under 21's, and I think I'd be tempted to look elsewhere for that price.

I doubt he'll cost you that much to be honest I was thinking about half that. Maybe even a loan with an option to buy.

To be honest goal scoring is not a priority to me from a forward. Tel, can he trap and hold up the ball?

We've got a goalscorer. we ain't getting two, they're rare and most teams don't even have one. But our goal scorer brings very little else but goals. We need a big forward who is strong, can hold up the ball, pass, has a turn of pace and a knack of drawing defenders out of position, than if he can finish it would be a nice extra but it's nowhere near the top of my list of attributes from a forward. I certainly won't be looking for goal scoring stats when we're linked with fwds.

To be honest mate he's had very few minutes at this level to form an opinion worth sharing, he is prone to the odd injury mate so if it was him plus one more then he may be worth a risk but if it's one striker you're buying I'd say let somebody else take the risk.

I see Phelan has taken over at Hull, he'll be sniffing around our youths for loans no doubt.

Manchester United are prepared to sell Will Keane this summer, with five clubs making enquiries for the player, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.

Keane, who scored the first goal of Jose Mourinho's reign during the 2-0 preseason friendly win at Wigan Athletic earlier this month, will be allowed to leave for a cut-price fee of £1 million.

The 23-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at the club, was included in United's squad for their preseason tour of China but he seems set to leave Old Trafford on a permanent basis this summer.

Keane has had spells out on loan at Wigan, Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End in the last three seasons after finding himself down the pecking order at Old Trafford.

The former England under-21 international spent the first half of last season on loan at Preston, scoring two goals in 22 appearances before being recalled by United only to suffer a season-ending injury in the FA Cup win over Shrewsbury Town.

United are open to offers for Keane this summer as his first-team chances are set to be limited with Mourinho well-stocked for attacking options.

News of Keane's availability for a cut-price £1m has alerted a number of club and sources have told ESPN FC that up to five clubs have expressed an interest in him.

We should get Nicklas Bendtner back then. Didn't he say something like that he was the best striker in the world, and all he needed to add to his game was to score some goals <doh>
