Hi BB, Windows 10 has been out for long enough that it won't cause issues. The main gain from upgrading is that it's free until the 29th of July, after that you'll have to pay for the licence. Windows 7 is going to be supported for years so you'll probably buy a new computer before Microsoft stop supporting 7. Windows 10 is a bit faster than 7, amd it has a few extra features and looks different but you won't really notice...
Good morning, all, from a bright, hot and beautiful Norfolk morning. Mrs Andy is asleep next to me, I am looking up through a skylight of completely blue sky bar three fading vapour trails. Then youngest loudly urinates with bathroom door open, breaks wind such that would embarrass a pig, exits of course without washing hands or flushing toilet, slips down the unfamiliar stairs and cries until Mummy comes to give Mummy Cuddle (Daddy Cuddles of far less value at this time). Placated child now watching perhaps a mite loud 'Slugterra'. Mummy has re-entered hibernation the waking from which, even with a cup of tea and a biscuit, will be viewed and treated similar to a war crime. <sigh> Holidays.
Morning all, bright and sunny in Rural France. Village feast was a huge success again this year, with far too much to eat and drink. The nibbles before dinner started were enough to provide a meal in themselves, When the serious eating began we were faced with a great variety of home cooking, and this took three hours of steady munching and talking. An hours break, then we started again. By the time it came to the end, about midnight, the array of empty bottles was quite impressive, but we had not managed to drink it dry. Despite the fact that we all live within two hundred metres of each other, it is good to get together with those who we see less often. The head is still intact, but such a lengthy spell of speaking in two languages can be a bit mind blowing. Think I will have a quiet morning weeding.
Morning all - or mid afternoon if you are a canary. Yesterday went very well - spent most of the time sitting in the shade in the garden. My dad is quite frail so has to be supported around - especially on grass where the zimmer frame is not so useful. Although still mentally very with it - he can still photoshop views to put in blue skies of his choosing - I notice his memory declines - something we talked about last time we were together about six months ago was now missing detail he had then. Quite odd to observe. He enjoyed himself immensely though and skyped and e-mailed all and sundry to say so. I upgraded from windows 8.1 to 10 and saw very little difference - I do not use Edge or Cortana but still use Chrome with adblock and adblockplus
When you have time, here is the answer! https://help.getadblock.com/support...ference-between-adblock-and-adblock-plus-abp-
The article seems to suggest Adblock does more and is better -still they don't get in each others way so I will leave them both until I learn reasons otherwise -thanks Dave
