Interview done, went decent. Had some bad nerves at the beginning (I felt totally calm when I waited for the interview-bloke in their head quarters office, until I started to wonder if I should be nervous (wtf?!) The talking interview part went OK I guess (I couldn't understand the Norwegian bloke now and then, which made some of my answers laughable) The observing part (Sat net to one of the workers and obserevedemoticon-0118-yawn whiles asking questions about the job. Not sure that you can fail that part The third part was translating a text in English to Swedish, which I thought would be much easier than it was. But I reckon I did pretty well. There were some random words though. I've never heard of "drop down menu". Doesn't sound right does it? Couldn't think of any good translation anyway, so I wrote "side menu". They better pass me Not sure when I get the answer if I got it or not. Probably the upcoming week
Drop down menu (or drop down box) is an internet term. It just means those boxes you see on website forms where there are a few options to choose from. For example the Swearing/No swearing option on this page is a drop down menu.
That your first job interview febbos? You got any others lined up? I've been grilled tons of times infront of some stoney faced buggers and it never gets any easier. Mind you it is in a foreign country so credit where credits due. Good luck mate.
Good luck with that Febbos. You will in effect be sleeping with the enemy. I always knew you were a loose cannon.
Nah, second (But the first one was probably impossible to fail if you didn't abuse/hit them).......... Don't have anything lined up right now, besides my extra job at the regional newspaper (I interview managers via phone after games and write a match report) They called me and asked I wanted to do it (I got way more cred in my hoods haha) I don't do it for the money though (don't get much) Just fun job on the side, and something I would like to "upgrade" in the future....
Do you specifically want to work in the UK, or would you be interested in a job in Sweden? And what sort of job are you after? (would you consider something really random?)
1: Nah, wherever I can get a job more or less But I reckon that the UK would be some good experience (and I speak the language decently enough) And If I got the job they would hook me up with an apartment (in which you live with 3-4 other co workers) 2: More or less everything, yeah (No OLM, nothing illegal or sexual, haha )
That's disappointing, I was going to offer you a job as a Scandanavian drug dealing sex worker. If things don't come off in Stoke, let me know, I might have a very different sort of job, quite interesting and probably very different to anything you've thought of before. Though we'd have to meet first, you might be a right freak.
You can't just dangle something like that in front of him and not tell him what it is! Do you have to be swedish to ask about this job?
It's not so much a job, as an opportunity to start a business and you don't necessarily have to be Swedish, Danish would be equally acceptable. I do plan to PM Febbos to explain.
Febbos: If you were to move here, how would you cope with the problem of all the women being fat and ugly? Those animal urges need to be satisfied...
