Frankuus looks like the step up to a mile will suit - was staying on really nicely at the end there

At Newmarket, after reading Richard Fahey’s column stating that “he should go well again”, I am going to go with INNOCENT TOUCH in the 2:35 as I think the favourite might not want it this quick.

Over in the Chester 2:50, he has SUNNUA, which he states is “at her very best with some juice in the ground”; and the going is reportedly on the easy side, although it will be drying out.

Curiously, I do not fancy Fahey’s in the race named after his SportingLife.com column (York 3:00) but I do like the chances of Kevin Ryan’s SWIFT APPROVAL, winner of three from four this term and clearly going the right direction – Tom Eaves might be lucky enough to get an uncontested lead here but he does not have to have one.

Got a right engine though Ron - what a story if she can go on to take the 1000GNS next season

Agreed Oddy. Must remember also that she is only 27 months old and they grow on a fair bit from there. Will be interesting to see her next season.

No matter what happens in the King George, it won't overshadow how impressive she was! Highlight of the day for me. She should have one more run this season, in the Group 1 Moyglare at the Curragh. If she wins well and remains unbeaten, could be odds on for 2017 1,000 Guineas!

Channel 4 showed 1986 King George, won by the best horse on the flat of the 80's in Dancing Brave! Good to see his trainer Guy Harwood looking well.

The days when BBC showed all the major sports on TV, FFS they don't show much sport nowadays - no horse racing, cricket, Formula 1, Rugby Union.....they don't even show Open Golf championship live!

Well, so much for looking for decent prices – one beaten in a photo, two missing in action... perhaps Chelsea’s Librisa Breeze will get the money back.

At York in the 4:10, I am on INTISAAB, which Shelley Birkett has won on two of the last three times. Hopefully he is still improving.

I do not back unraced two year olds but I have been told that the Salisbury 6:50 will go to Ralph Beckett’s Showcasing filly Shozita.

Time Test sure won't win Group 1 Juddmonte International at York unless it's as substandard as today's King George at Ascot, which is as strong as a Group 2 over 1m4f but sure isn't a competitive Group 1.
