    #bbcsalford sucking Rooney's cock too

The headline and first words of the article are "England captain Wayne Rooney"

He isn't Fat Sam's captain yet

You're not the only one, mate.

Seriously, he can't lose. He can't do any worse than his predecessors (surely?) and he'll walk off with a big pay0ff after the period of mediocrity that everyone except the most deliriously optimistic expects.
Fat Sam gets a Fat Sum, and can put "England manager- no worse than anyone else" on his CV

Since the majority of the country have already written him off, there is very little pressure on him either.

Although I don't like his style of play, I think he'll be great for England.

He ought to be an improvement on Woy, at least. I know that's not setting the bar very high, but it's something.

Imo, Woy's problem, well one of them at least, was fiddling too much with his line-ups and game plan right up to the beginning of the tournament. He never really knew what his best team was and they didn't know how they were meant to be playing. There were some talented individuals in that squad, but as we know it's more about a team than a group of individuals.
Tinkering all the time is ok if you're a good tactician and your players are all well-versed in what's expected of them even if the tactics change, but Woy is no Rafa in that respect and it just meant everyone was all over the place all the time.
Sam will be more direct, and that might at least mean the players know what they're supposed to be doing. It won't make them serious trophy contenders, but maybe a little more consistent.

I'd hope that would be correct. Being predictable and sound is actually important at I ternational le el cos with 2/3 days to prepare players need to know the score

Quite simply, he didn't have a clue and didn't make take decisions. Rather than deciding on a system, picking a team and drilling it into them, he dithered and dallied and ultimately no-one knew what they were supposed to be doing. When things started going bad against Iceland, he should have been proactive, giving at least motivation. He looked thoroughly lost.

If his first game as England manager sees him pick more or less the same team then every can see who is really picking the team.

Is it Woy in a Fat Sam suite?

England players have been picked on reputation alone for decades now without any consideration for what makes a team.

    Next question.

Will England qualify for World Cup under fat Sam. Who will you be supporting if England don't make it?

Woy only got to World Cup because Capello had already qualified him. Qualifying for Europe is easy. Even small teams like Wales managed it.

Sorry that was Euro 2012, Capello had been gone 2 years before Brazil 2014. Woy got us past Ukraine, Poland, Montenegro, San Marino and Moldova (we drew both games against Ukraine)
