Tel aside cause hes a top lad but every Man U fan ive met has been impossible to talk about football in general with or any other club or player without them instantly turning the conversation about how Man U are the biggest club in the World etc.
Just read the thread, as boring and repetitive as it was, most of them were saying its a good fit. Some of them hoped he'd take you down and maybe a handful of them said something childish which you might say is 'hate' but I'd not use that word. I'm not defender of all united fans, obviously you'll get idiots and decent ones from any set of fans, maybe we have more idiots by default as we have more fans. Maybe they'll read this board and make a thread about it one day.
Dunno what you're on about mate, I don't really hear that sort of thing very often at all. The thing is with Sunderland fans, they maybe don't get the arrogance thing, as you're a top club but we're different in a way, in a big way, I mean we're the biggest club in the world ffs, surely being the biggest club in the world you're allowed some arrogance? P.S..... Biggest club in the world.
ManU fans welcomed the "Anointed One" because he was SAF's choice. Moyes' mistake was to install his own staff thinking he could be guided them rather than the coaches who had been appointed by SAF. So long as he does not do the same here he should be OK.
My son's U8 trainer was a young lass from Manchester. She was beloved by all for her charm and the way she introduced football to the boys. But if she wasn't talking about football, you weren't quite sure what she was talking about. She had the good sense to be a City fan. That was the year they won the league.
Seriously, I've no idea what the debt is or what you mean by 'biggest club' but they're certainly not generally that highly regarded at the moment. The last 2 managers have left the club much less attractive than it used to be. Which is why the choice of Mourinho seems a little strange which his grinding style of play.
Yes it's my fault for jumping into a conversation, feet first and posting without thinking ...... ........ but I feel you should always play to your strengths
Not bothered what united fans think. He did relatively poorly there (after the greatest manager the world has seen and with an aging squad). I expect them to be petty about it. He's a next level manager to what we're see to (same level as Sam IMO) so thumbs up for me
I'd just like to point out to the OP by the way, although I never intended to take this thread seriously, the amount of Steve Bruce threads we see on this board is far more ridiculous than anything that's written on that thread. There's no difference.
