That is a load of nonsense that he had to wait for the Board....He offered £8m for Joe when Liverpool wanted £10m and now if we want him we will have to offer £13+ and a better contract deal than stoke......If he wasn't such a penny pincher he could have secured Joe's signature on day one with the contract we had in place...Jenkins has lost us many players recently that we could have gone for.....Its time for him to move on now we are starting a new chapter and i hope the yanks will come to realize soon that he is actually costing us money by him trying to save money....it may work in the lower leagues but it wont work in the premiership where its dog eats dog and if you dont pay the going rate you will lose your targets....
Completely stupid comment, the board makes the decisions on money spent, saying that its all down to Huw shows how little you know about how the club is run. They are the ones saying what to offer together with him, in business you go for the lowest offer not what you are willing to pay, if you were actually a businessman you'd know that! Your dislike of Huw is evident in your signature, I gather he was hero when he put that failure in charge of the club? I for one love our overlord and ruler king Huw. All jokes aside Huw has done a fantastic job since taking over, without him we would be languishing in the lower leagues. Yes he can be a bit of a penny pincher but we're not a massive club with an endless source of cash, financially we're in the black and performance wise we're doing as good as can be expected if not more.
