It wasn't even really the beginning was it, but it was certainly the point that stopping giving a **** so much became much more natural

And what's worse is, after missing 4 or 5 home games and finding you really don't miss the rancour and negativity around the place, you become not fussed whether you go back or not!

It was for me - the first time I almost didn't renew since BP death, but yes, the dictator was already on a roll

If it wasn't for some total ****ing numbskulls -who promised me how super it would be in the North- I wouldn't have bothered . I fell for the cut of their jib like a big wet **** ;)

I miss them all though and it makes me quite tearful

Anyhow, Deano started it all in 2008. Now, of course, we had to give it a go but it's been **** on the whole, for so many reasons, barring one or two major moments.

Do like the red card protest idea, though possibly pointless without the backing of the supporters trust. Last time, they provided and handed out the red cards. Such is the apathy to even protest, without this, I fear not many would go to the trouble.

Interesting we are debating which issue to protest over. Could almost have a multi coloured coded protest...
    ie red for membership scheme
    green for Airco
    blue for evictions
    white for name change

In all seriousness it would underline that we aren't just protesting against one single issue, but a series of issues. If Supporters trust did support it, I'm sure it'd be easy enough to organise.
Just imagine the publicity from 'a ground of many colours' on Sky's first game of the season.

How about everyone filling their pockets with red tomatoes and lobbing them on the pitch.
The match may have to be stopped, and it will still be a red protest

If they're not attending matches protest directly outside the home property, loudly & audibly for the duration of every game. Organised marches through whatever village it is they live in. Direct with disruption.

Thats a great idea... but it has to be decently done... no lobbing at players as this needs doing at 19:04 or 20:10....

How about all those who did the blue nude shoot doing it again without the paint - to emphasize that the club is being stripped naked.

If you want global exposure for your protest against Leicester then get yer sens nekked and paint yourselves with black and amber body paint and pose in West Park in the shape of a giant tiger.

Every supporter wear a Steve Bruce mask and chant his name throughout the game.

Can't see much of a protest.

By the sounds of other posts many of the "Hardcore" City massive on here that see themselves as the lifeblood of the club have not renewed and neither have their mates down the snooker halls etc.

Sooo it will be down to the Premier League plastics as they like to call them to protest... I don't see this happening do you?

I dare say this opinion has been aired on another thread somewhere. So sorry if so. Hope I am wrong, but this is Allam revenge. Its pay-back time. They have carefully pushed the fans into a corner, with the name change stuff and the membership scheme crap. They have achieved the first goal, by alienating the fans. Two by ensuring that no one wishes to purchase the club by making numerous obstacles to a deal. Now the third objective get rid of the popular manager. The aim to drive the club into the ground whilst taking all the money out of the club...I've got an awful feeling we're a Portsmouth/Blackpool in the making. Probably more Blackpool, as money is taking out of the club as it disintegrates in front of our eyes. We might well hit the bottom quicker than Blackpool, if thats possible. If I'm wrong I 'll be the first to hold my hands up and apologise.

The only way in my opinion to get the message across to these utter ****wits is to hit them in their pockets, people who have taken out memberships with the club need to cancel them, those considering taking up the membership you really need to look at yourselves and take into account the abhorrent running of OUR club by these complete and utter idiots, they are systematically dismantling us, we have 13 fit players and they cannot even get free agents across the line. They have a windfall of £100m yet are loathe to spend any on the future of the club. They have treated one of the most respected managers in football with utter disdain, they have shat from the highest towers upon the supporters, they have no regard for what is expected of owners of a football club, they have fallen out with everyone they come into contact with, and then speak about their legacy. For me the only way to get at them is to boycott all games until these scum wise up and realise just what a mess they have made of things, hit them on the takings, the merchandise etc. The sooner this shower of **** wise up and **** off the better, and the only way they will do this is cut off any extra funding.
