I've finally caved in and had a look at what everyone's raving about with"The Wire". Seen the first 6 episodes of Season 1. Not bad, not seeing the "Amazingness" quiet yet. It's interesting but not that exciting yet.

Just been watching Celebrity Masterchef, when they were cooking for the Chelsea Pensioners and when you consider they are all more or less 90 years ld, I thought they looked fantastic for their age.. I know quite a few people 20 years or so younger and they don't look half as good!!!

Just started watching Billions, 5 episodes in and I think it's brilliant. Want to watch Stranger Things on Netflix as I've only heard good things about it.

Billions is very high on my list will watch it soon. Stranger things has shot right up my list for the same reason you state. Will watch that soon too.

Trying to finish the 2nd half of Gotham Season 2 at the moment. It's a real struggle again. Also watching Mad Men season 5. I think I'm starting to understand the hype at last.

To be honest I've only just heard about Stranger Things a couple of days ago, so know nothing about it. But people on Twitter seems to be loving it so want to check it out.

Billions is just classy and so well made, I didn't expect to like it as much as I do.

Stranger things looks like an old school 80s scifi film. Reminds me from the trailers of....super 8 crossed with ET and The Goonies. But with modern day effects and CGI. I really like the idea of that.

Billions. All I hear is fantastic. I know I'll love it.

People described Stranger Things as a mash up of Stephen King and Steven Spielberg which got me interested immediately.

Perfect. That sums up my feeling from the trailers too. I said that exact thing to my gf last weekend.

"Man Seeking Woman" Season 1. Fantastic! Very strange, very surreal. A hint of Mighty Boosh, mixed in with an American Comedy about Dating now adays.

Made me laugh throughout. Highly underrated.

Finished watching Stranger Things and I can't recommend it enough. The story, acting and music was just so well done and brilliant.

Started Black sails this week, only 2 episodes in, I'll need more time to give any real judgement, but enough to keep me interested, without the necessary hoick to get me to binge watch it thus far.

Just finished the entire 8 season run of Benedorm. We are going in 2 weeks so thought we'd do some research. It was OK, a few decent laughs per episode are hampered by a number of charactors that perhaps shouldn't have been given the light of day. Harmless enough fun, but it's no classic like Blackadder goes forth!

    Bah!

Much like the new Ghostbusters, I have no intention of seeing Independence Day 2. They just look absolutely terrible.
