    Well last season we regularly played with 4 central midfielders. Sometimes played with 2 left backs and if I remember right on another occasion we had 3 specialist full backs on the bench whilst playing 2 players in full back positions that weren't! So anything is possible! :)

    Saw this about Ikpeazu- hope its not a common theme within our youngsters but it does seem clubs do just let players go without really telling them!

    Maybe typical of the hard nosed cut throat nature of modern football.

    He was a bit unlucky in that the guy joined when we had the take-over and suffered with injuries.

    Also some of his loan spells weren't that successful - got sent back from Port Vale for example.

    It appears to be at odds with how the club normally treat the youngsters who are released - the bulk of last season's U21 team for example.

    And of course its only his side of the story...

    I think the issue might have been attitude as I think Robert Page at Port Vale said he still had a lot to learn about the game.

    You could be right. Every time I read/heard his name, I kept on thinking Moses Ashikodi for some unknown reason...:)

    Oh come on, Frenchie! The Pozzos would never allow a player to lose his passport. If, however, there was a danger of a player going to Rio during the season they could arrange for the passport to disappear - for the players own safety, of course. Parts of Rio can be dangerous.
