Our new Dutch striker got his first goal for us today in a friendly against Rotherham, Marcus Edwards and Shay Harrison getting the other goals in a 3-1 win.

Upgrades for the bench are absolutely essential Dona. Our starting XI is strong enough to beat anyone. The real problems last season were only encountered when players were injured/suspended, or when the opposition set up like Chelsea in their successful CL campaign. In both scenarios, top quality understudies and impact subs who can change a game are crucial.

What stood out last season was the reality that 80% of Poch's substitutions had no impact on the game whatsoever, often actually making things worse. This has to change or we'll forever be a better looking, more friendly version of Arsenal.

Cheers CK. I agree about upgrades. I just think its very hard to find a player who will actually upgrade.....Chadli plays like he's in shock. I think our demands are out of his depth. I'd have gone for Arnautovic(sp) of Stoke. He's usually fired up for the big games, the type that always has a point to prove. Also has PL experience and can score a few. Has the ability to make things happen out of nothing. He might demand first team football. However I think an upgrade in club, the London limelight, Wembley games, CL football exposure would convince the Ibrahimovic lite to join us.

Alli got 10 PL goals in his first season. If the other two also try and front up without going all
Townsend on us, the damage would be awesome.

I would also like the back four to set themselves a target of at least 10 PL goals in total

No chance! Both Holte Legends and Miss Villa are men! Spurs fans wish Villa weren't relegated as when we beat them home and away last season, it was like midweek training.
