Mon: I fear you are not entirely happy with today's prize. So, as a gesture of goodwill and grace, I've decided to add a bonus.

It's a rather delightful signed photo of John Virgo. :) Be sure to have it laminated before installing it in your wallet.

It wasn't that I wasn't happy with the prize, I just thought there could have been more of them, two didn't seem to do the not to scale treasure maps justice.

With Russian and Polish ancestry, I was born in Eastern Europe during the 1930s
My family and I were imprisoned in a concentration camp during WW2; I married an American soldier and moved to California
I’m perhaps best known for my work in the horror genre, but I also appeared in a war film with Richard Burton; my TV work includes Doctor Who and Ironside
I held a student’s pilot licence and once flew in a Lancaster; I was also a black belt in karate

The child of a solicitor, I was born in southwest England during the early 1940s
I started out as a bass player in a jazz group, and it was while performing in the Far East that I secured my first radio job, as a sports commentator
By the 70s I was working for BBC Radio, sometimes filling in for Wogan, and I became a popular face on TV via a children's show
I climbed the summits of Ben Nevis and Snowdon; I was a keen follower of Everton FC; and I often had fans caddy for me on the golf course

I was born into a theatrical family in London, during the 1920s
Known for being a master drummer and bandleader, I was soon appointed musical director for a regional TV company - a post I held for 25 years
I composed television theme tunes for popular game shows and comedies, and I even conducted The Muppet Show orchestra
I spent three months in jail during the 70s; my son appeared in a famous music mockumentary; and I often toured with the great trumpeter Kenny Baker

I have to say that I thought you had forgotten about the quiz. I must say that I'm glad the info didn't contain the myth that the emperor penguin used to fall over backwards whilst looking up at planes flying over the Falklands. Penguins are the only birds that can truly swim though<ok> It is amazing to think that penguins live on the equator, outstanding effort from our little friends

<laugh> They are amazing creatures. I'm a huge fan of the Chinstrap variety.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I had a retinopathy screening at 4.20pm and couldn't focus properly for the following four hours. I had hoped you (or someone else) would solve the quiz within the 30 minute period between my posting the quiz and heading out.

    It won't happen again.

I would have normally but I was putting together new furniture for our back terrace.

    It won't happen again.

On that note, I'm going to read my book now and hope I am not busy for the quiz tomorrow<ok
