Nope. The natives are starting to get restless. Hearing it's all very positive about the new stadium being on the Docks though
I've just arranged a client meeting in London with the Director of Biology at Cancer Research Technology, the commercial wing of Cancer Research UK for the first week in August. They seemed a little nonplussed when I asked if there was a smoking area outside Joking aside, I'll have to give my fingers a good scrub before I go to that one. They want a Principal Scientist, so it's fairly meaty
So not pining for any sevilla guys any more then? Like its a big promotion in theory for him so what he going to do? build you a scouting network and look at other technical details like training facilities and academy coaching etc etc..
Use his knowledge and experience to source players as his prime objective I'd have thought. We already have a highly respected scouting network and the facilities are already in the process of being extended at Finch Farm. He was responsible for finding the likes of Vardy, Kante et al for Leicester. Ferguson described him as ''The most influential person in the Premier League' last season. Some accolade.
90% chance Fergie was pissed tbf. @FosseFilberto thinks they won't miss him at all. But he is a bit deluded at present.
tobes are you a bit worried that Everton havent signed a single player yet? Also how do you think Koeman will get on? Do you reckon he will still be a fairly pragmatic manager like when he was at Southampton or do you think he will be slightly more offensive. I don't think he has the holding midfielders that he likes at everton (barry/besic/mccarthy not thanks). How have you guys looked pre season (you played any games yet)?
Not worried we've not made a load of signings yet, especially given Walsh has only arrived today and obviously has a hugely important role in recruitment. I'd expect us to be bringing in 4 or 5 in the next week or so. As for Koeman, he's played a number of different formations and has proved he's not scared of altering his set up to best counter the opposition. He's pragmatic by nature, but I liked watching Soton and didn't find them dull. We've not played a proper game yet, first one is Saturday at Barnsley, but most of the internationals who played in the Euro's are unlikely to feature. We've been linked with DM's, so it's a fair shout that he's isolated that area as one he wants to strengthen - we've been linked with Carvalho and Witsel
... more poetic license from Sky ...what I actually said was that Walshy goes with the best wishes of everyone at LCFC and is leaving a fabulous scouting team behind him .. his chief assistant, Jon Rudkin, will now take on Walshy's mantle ...
Boris ****ing Johnson is UK Foreign Secretary, and Donald John ****ing Trump could possibly be the President of the good ol' US of A. Any advance on that?
Kante was a ranieiri source. However... surely koeman says who comes and goes and his guy is the head of those structures and defining the clubs future developments/ hiring coaches etc etc. Just being a recruiter of players should be a minor part of that whole job.
